| Something to think about Posted: 11/23/2004 3:05:48 PM | This concept always used to scare me as a kid.
Is there an end to the Universe? If so, how can there be nothing after that? If not, how can something go on forever? Either way it is a concept which the human mind (at least mine) can't grasp. Infinity, or absolutely nothing.

How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

| Something to think about Posted: 11/23/2004 3:13:06 PM | Infinity.....look at a wedding band and tell me were it starts and stops?
absolutely nothing... look at my wallet after bill day.
yes there the kind of questions that make your head hurt thinking about them.
well like the pink panther stepping out of the house just before it hits the ground.as a kid I use to think that was a good game plan untill i learnd he was falling as fast as the house and it would do him no good to step out. back to screeming and waving my hands as i fell now. dohhhh!

what came first the chicken or the egg? and if you say egg... what did everything taste like before the chicken?
|
| Something to think about Posted: 11/23/2004 3:48:21 PM | DAMMIT JIM!!! Okay...
the chicken thing hurts my head...I think I will go with the evolution theory and go with we all evolved from plasma...the chicken had a predescessor and therefore evolved into the chicken via millenia of reproduction.
Otherwise...If I believed the chicken came first...I would have to believe that god created the world.

Okay...not sure I am gonna get the numbers right on this, but you will get the idea.....Why does a pack of hot dogs contain 10 weenies and the pack of buns contain 12 buns??

| Something to think about Posted: 11/23/2004 4:31:27 PM | | The extra buns are for the birds. you know you would think someone in the bun making corperate office would say WAIT! we can get the same price for 10 buns..there are only 10 weenies in a pack. very good thought ltl. | |
|
| Something to think about Posted: 11/23/2004 6:08:29 PM | it's a conspiracy from the hot dog and bun people to start an endless cycle of purchasing.... oh oh, not enough hot dogs, got to buy more..... oh oh, not enough buns, got to buy more.... oh oh oh , not enough hot dogs, got to buy more....
simply my opinion but i'm a conspiracy theorist

| Something to think about Posted: 11/23/2004 6:23:13 PM | | raoul...i've often wondered why they don't have squirrel flavoured dog food | |
|
| Something to think about Posted: 11/23/2004 6:49:45 PM | If your skin is constantly being renewed, why does it look older over time? --beacuse cells lose there ability to reproduce themselves properly over a period of time.
If man evolved from monkeys and apes, why do we still have monkeys and apes?? --It only took one monkeys cell mutations to start its ancestors on a new genetic path from its brothers. These cell mutations happen for many reasons ranging from chemicals in the enviroment to climatic differences to radiation from the sun.
Is there an end to the Universe? If so, how can there be nothing after that? If not, how can something go on forever? --Good question-not an answeer but its like expecting an ant in langley to know whats playing at the theatres in Vancouver.
Was there a time before time? What happens when it stops? --Interesting question but considering time is an idea of ours it is hard to understand. Given that we relate time to the natural molecular breakdown of certain materials time exists only when entropy is functioning in the universe. So before time and after time I would say that the balance of energy in the universe is constant. Whereas there are no areas of high and low --all being the same..
How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? --guess that depends on how hard and/or wet you lick things....
If molecules are constantly in motion, even in 'solid' objects, how does the object retain it's shape? --molecules are in constant motion in liquids and gasses, not solids. The electrons may be in motion of any material....Shape retention normally has to do with the molecular alignment of the materials in question--Note-Glass is a liquid-ever noticed how old glass is always thicker at the bottom? Things disintegrate because the outermost molecules lose there ability to stay combined in there present form.
So if evolution is a lie why do chickens and ostrich's have wings?
What about our appendix's or tonsils?
