cut through a vast sea of green
Not wantting to look back
but to terrified to look ahead
the place I leave
is always the place
I shall return
a bare face cliff
calling out to me
as the mountain cries
the tears I reluctantly let fall
floods of emotions
wash over me in a daze
I sit no one to cry out too
know one to hold my hand
tell me it will be ok
it hurts knowing
that I cant have your touch
cant have your strong arms embrace me
tell me its ok
if I could give anything
to have you here beside me
tell me its ok
anything to know longer bare
this heart ache that I feel
tell me it will be ok

i would carry water from a ditch
inside great pockets made of plastic and double stitched
the smell although bad would make me rich
id wander the ancient trails of silk traders and nomads
all the while smelling so bad
with water dripping from my pants
and bags of food ,mainly red ants
id make my fortune in smelly water
and provide mankind with a solution to famine
but my greatest gift would be
a real childhood for all with the possibility of a ball. | |
