| preview button for posts & messages Posted: 11/24/2004 9:26:31 PM | Occasionally I do a little formatting, and would like to make sure I didn't typo. A 'preview' button would be handy for this.

| preview button for posts & messages Posted: 5/5/2007 2:45:37 PM | This feature would be really handy, especially when it comes to emoticons and dancing bananas (I can never seem to get the syntax right on those thingy's...sigh). When I click the button to insert an emoticon, it inserts the code on a new line, and while it appears I'm in a new paragraph, that sometimes isn't the case.
Yes - I know the edit feature could be used for public posts, but there is no such option for private messages. Plz add the preview feature back - if you have the time. | |

| preview button for posts & messages Posted: 11/12/2007 12:07:07 PM | I'd like to add my vote for having a Preview option when Posting a forum message!
Even though I can go back and Edit my Post within the 1st 15 minutes, I found out today that the Edit doesn't always work... I forgot to use the close quote html on a post I'd made, but when I Edited the post and tried to add the close quote syntax in it wouldn't take. After trying 3 times, I gave up and put traditional quote marks in instead.
Doing the html quote thingy wrong is probably the most common error I make on the forums. And I never notice it till after I've posted. (sigh)

| preview button for posts & messages Posted: 2/29/2008 9:21:38 PM | | I second or fifteenth the requests for a forum message preview feature. I just cancelled a response to a post because I wasn't sure how the emoticons would display. Is this something POF is considering? | |

You can test that right now.
This is what we have for the Time being to Preview:
