When I'm not reading profiles on POF or thinking up ways to slander myself on the forums, I really enjoy a good book. Right now I am engaged in:

The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini
Catch 22, by Joseph Heller
Radical Evolution, by Joel Garreau

All three of them excellent reads, although Catch 22 takes some patience until you get used to the prose style.

Any recommendations?

Just re-reading some Clive Cussler books. Love them, I don't have to really think about what is being said or done in them, and I really don't need anything too heavy to read right now.

I do read other things when I'm into it. Just read a great non-fiction about the SNL scandal in the US from the '90's. Very interesting how the Iraqi's were able to use an Italian bank to get loans from the US government to help build up it military.

i'm working on the kite runner too.
secret life of bees, icy sparks, i don't know how she does it, the da vinci code, wonderful ways to love a grandchild (don't ask), Ender's game, the time traveller's wife (i really liked that), vagina monologues (yes...funny as piss on my dad's girlfriend's face, but fast)

those are my recent ones, and i enjoyed them all. ender's game needed a bit more to the end though.icy sparks was really one to tug at your heart strings.
