Posted: 9/9/2005 2:56:37 PM | The sad truth is that the good guys just frustrated as we bump into the female version of what females bump into with men. I posted profile with POF for the first time some 3 days or so back after not posting anywhere out for sheer frustration with what I have been bumping into. The sad truth is that as the good men give up in frustration and go away the jerks and nut cases and brain deads move in, and "WE" normal good guys are GROSSLY out numbered and therefor we are hard as hell to find. And when you do things often do not go well as you think....my god this I bet will be yet another dripping wet off the well nut case like the rest you have bumped into....and he is thinking much the same to. So both of you are stand-off-ish with each other wondering when he or she will show his or her nut case side. And just for the record there " paradise31 " you are very cute and would love to meet you... One can only hope that you are normal in a old fashion way as the modern normal is just to weird for me....

All i have ever looked forward to is the exclusive relationship with all the fringe benefits with that one guy. I just keep on waiting. I have realized looking has only caused unneccessary grief. I am big on good communication as well which seems to scare guys off! Nothing like a women saying it like it is!

On-topic though, I'll admit I DO have a 'mask' but that's for my job, it only exists at work. At work I am over-confident, almost arrogant but I have to be - otherwise in my workplace I'd be eaten alive by all the sharks there.
In reality I may seem like a brick wall or like a direct relation of Mr. Spock (from Star Trek) but I'm not really like that - I've been burned alot and it's gotten to me over the years, I know I shouldn't let it, but when you put all your love into a woman and she lies to you, claims you cheated on her when you KNOW you didn't (let alone couldn't)... it kinda takes it's toll 'ya know? :) | |

Posted: 10/7/2005 2:41:55 PM | OK ladies, let's face it. We often see the red flags and ignore them. When I was dating I saw them all the time. But when I was dating I could eventually walk away. After I was married to a jerk for 11 years (and went through six counslers) I believe I was beat up by red flags to the point that I think I sometimes even see them where they are not. Has this ruined me?
I hope not.
Examples of Red flags: How he treats and or talks about others.
( Eventually this will be you dear.)
Telling small "white lies."
(They get bigger and darker as time goes on.)
Stories about how he had to kick someones ass because they needed
it so bad.
(IN MOST cases no one ever needs an ass kicking really.)
Bragging about "getting one over" on the law. Or doing time.
(Yes girls admit it some of you out there have given him a second
date. But he was so sweet. That's all in his past.)
Yea I have kids but their **** of a mother wont let me see them.
(Either he's too lazy to see them and wont take "the ****" to
court for it... or he has and sucks even in the eyes of the law.)
He's been hurt so bad he just can't make a commitment to anyone
even wonderful you.
(He's a player... This is a line. RUN)
My Phone was in the car all night, is broken, dead.

Let's face it we have all seen jerks and let it go, see if it's something we can live with, or hope that if we tell them over and over and over again that this bothers us that they will change. But here is the bottom line...
Don't look at how he's treating you (He wants a peice of your sweet worthy ass) look at how he treats those around you. | |
