| Why do young men think older women are interested in them? Posted: 9/16/2005 7:53:26 AM | Although I am flattered by the amount of email I receive from guys 19-27(which is a majority of my mail) why do these men think I would ever be interested in them? By the way, I'm 44!
I am not attracted to men in this age group nor would I ever consider dating someone who probably looks like MY SON! Yikes! Not to mention how I don't want to teach them-take care of them-or give them therapy! Ladies are you experiencing this...? What is your opinion of this interest? Is it just a sexual invitation...? Most claim that "No it is not"...Some say "they are serious!"
Mercy, I feel like calling teir Mother's!!!!

My last bf was 8 years younger (or only 6 now according to his new profile), but 17 years is pushing the envelope a bit I think, I'd die if my 18 year old son was dating someone in my age group...that's just wrong ~Missy~

Maybe because it doesn't bother you so much. My opinion is that age doesn't matter but state of mind and maturity does.

| Why do young men think older women are interested in them? Posted: 9/16/2005 8:44:44 AM | Well again it's a preference thing...I prefer younger men. I am very fun loving and don't prefer to spend all of my time talking about stocks and bonds...now I do enjoy that every now and again..but younger guys all the way for me
Btw...something to be said on the whole teaching thing...some guys get ruined but girls that are how shall we say..not smart...so getting them young and teaching them all there is to know....well it can't be beat my friend. :)

| Why do young men think older women are interested in them? Posted: 9/16/2005 9:40:10 AM | i have to agree with niceguysleft--- some women are attracted to younger guys... i am 25 and its just what i am attracted to, i like older women, its just what i prefer. i would much rather date a woman 5 years older than me than younger. 1- for the fact that i feel i we meet on a better playing field maturity wise, and i prefer a more mature look in my women. i remember the first time i was with a older woman... i was 19 and she was 32... priceless. and just like ^ said, you can teach things, and let me tell you, i was TAUGHT!!! and from that moment on, i seemed to just gravitate to older women. | |

| Why do young men think older women are interested in them? Posted: 9/16/2005 10:01:12 AM | A couple of factors: 1) Younger men are narcisistic and believe the world revolves around them. Therefore they are irresistible 2) American Pie, it is the thing to so for young men to go after MILFs 3) Many younger men believe that an older woman will bemore dynamic in bed. Ozzie | |

| Why do young men think older women are interested in them? Posted: 9/16/2005 10:16:29 AM | | There are also lots of older women on here who constantly write in praise of younger men, thus adding fuel to the fire. Speaking as a more matuere man, I thank you for being who you are! Some mature guy is going to be very lucky! | |

I wasn't eluding to my mail, or complaining, just referring to the various forums on the same topic on the question at hand. And I'll say whatever the hell I want to, and if YOU don't like it, then don't read what I have to say!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Why do young men think older women are interested in them? Posted: 9/16/2005 11:18:17 AM | I like this titled posting! It's like politics and religion, it's a heated debate. However, I do share the same fact and opionion that it's all based on maturity. I'm 45 and found that I am partial to the younger men because of the things that I do in life (and my gender of music: Hip Hop and some forms of rap) and the older men are too laid back for me. Okay not all the older men, I know there are some like me in my age catagory that enjoy the younger stuff, but I'm merely talking about a MAJOR group of older men than me.
Honestly, I think if I slowed down too much I will feel much to old...heheeee. My last boyfriend was 27 and was very forthright and mature and was more bold when trying something new. An older guy wouldn't be. Hey and think of Demi Moore and Ashton...they seem to get along great.
And, I'll tell you this....I found that most of my "older" lady friends, actually about two of them, go with the older guys because of money and stablity...but they are really materialistic and want the comfort money brings. They tell me all the time that I'm wasting my time! But of course I just smile and know it's much more fun with a younger guy when it comes to sex and intimacy. So, I feel to each her own and just suggest maybe change your profile a little and just enjoy the attention because your only beautiful once and you are a beautiful lady. Thank you too for having a great debateable topic!

Posted: 9/16/2005 11:20:39 AM | | Comment to NEniceguys...I think if you were to consider what the OP says a guy 19 contacting her is like a 9 year old contacting you. I have to assume that it would be a little too young for your liking. As to setting age restricitons not sure about other people but I never dreamt I would have to include ages that young, it just didnt even occur to me that someone in that age group would be contacting me. I too have had the majority of contact from males younger than my son (who is 27). I was also very surprised and of course a little sarcastic with replies, although clear that I too am not interested. It is funny and flattering and just plain weird!

| Why do young men think older women are interested in them? Posted: 9/16/2005 2:25:13 PM | I do get many. They tell me I don't look my age. As if I am the one and only who tries to show her age older than she really is!
Younger people, I do have respect for them and wish them an appropriate both mental and physical growth. But, friendship or any other kind of relationship with them would sound like CHILD-play to me!

| Why do young men think older women are interested in them? Posted: 9/16/2005 2:45:26 PM | | Couple of reasons. 1) It is safe for the woman because the risk of emotional investment is low. 2) Younger girls do it to keep their man happy, but sexy mature women love sex for sex and are more open minded. | |
