- sharing a chill out on a weekend morning with the paper, good coffee and those real home fries
- massage
- getting tipsy and horsing around early in the day
- unexpected touches when doing ordinary tasks
- introducing each other to new pleasures
EDIT: and someone to put the toilet roll in the toilet roll holder ( when I got divorced, ex-hubby wondered how it would get done). I loathe that task ( stupid, eh?!) | |

Posted: 9/21/2005 4:55:50 PM | waking up beside someone, the warmth, the smell, and touch, missing the conversation, the kiss hello and goodbye, the feeling that makes u smile when your lover walks into a room, the feeling that all is good in the world when your holding eachother, i miss holding hands, i miss staring across the table or the room at eachother knowing that its right, when you get a call at work and its just to say hi and it makes the day perfect no matter how shitty the day is...i can go on and on.......
damn thread!!!! but a good one....i hate realizing what i am missing!!!

I hate being owned but i love being a womans man
I love how he put that!! For the longest time on my profile the headline was :
"I miss being somebody's girl"
I love the feeling of knowing that you're heart belongs to someone, and theirs belongs to you. Not in a controlling way, just a "we are part of each other" way.
OT- I also miss just having someone to hold me, the feeling of the human touch. | |

Someone to go out of your way to do nice things for cuz they do for you. I think with all of us, tis a sense of perhaps belonging to someone but not from an ownership or control point!!!!!!!! A body can have as many "body buddies" as their little hearts desire, but the intimacy is simply not the same as takin the time to know/share with just that one someone special!!!!!!!!! | |

I definitely miss the imtimacy as well. Someone to curl up with and watch a movie, and be there for you. That hug when you have had a bad day. As someone else said here, it's not even the sex. Just the imtimacy of being held and comforted. | |
