I been testign the water getting nibble after nibble and then I would get a bite, hoping for something big and rather only getting a catfish or a sunfish and throwing them back.
Well one day in my searching it hit me, i had been overlooking someone for so long, neglecting someone even thought they have loved me and been there for me for so long, and then i decided that your right I am an ass I have to do something about this.
So now here I am happily ever after inlove with my right hand.
Its so grand.

I think it should also be measured by the amount of friends you can make on this site. I have met some wonderful people, become friends with them, and hope to meet more. If I meet my life long love then great, if not then oh well ... I still think I am successful because I have met some great friends!! | |

Posted: 2/2/2006 12:10:21 PM | Hi, I thought id start replying to some of these! About time, ive probably been on here for just over a year now!
Ive met probably about 5 people of this site, some remaining friends, some not! But very interesting people!
There was one particular one that had sent me a msg early on in september, we were suppose to meet at the end, but the friday night before the sunday I was in a car accident, and wasnt feeling up to going out and playing soccer like we were suppose to, and plus me being the me , I started seeing the bouncer from the bar i always went to, my second home! he became one of my bestfriends..
But yea in the beginning of january we met for the first time, , and when we went out we got a long very well, needless to say though we talked many times on msn and asked a lot of questions so we were kinda stuck on that when we went out for coffee.. shyness...
I went on a trip to cuba in january, and we had hung out twice before i left!
We wrote emails back and forth while I was gone!
When i got back on the friday he called, and then we hung out on the saturday!
Soo the whole point to this is, is that the one I have met, has made me sooo happy each day that we have spent together! And I would like to thank him for that!
Im not saying its a success story, as we have much more to learn about one another, but the time we have been spending together, has been awesome!
And all i have left to say is that, i thank pof also, for giving me the opportunity to meet an amazing person! and all the other good people I have met as well..
And for right now! Im not letting this fishy go! I can see us together in the future, and I believe he would say the same thing!
Were making banana pancakes on sunday! mmmm im excited!

It has given me the opportunity to get out there and meet people that I may have not been able to meet in my regular life.
Doing this POF thing has also made me realize that I will never settle for second best.
It's also given me a lot of funny & scary dating stories to add to my collection. | |
