| $Eric Clapton Cream Reunioun Posted: 9/25/2005 6:20:45 PM | I saw him in '89 at the Montreal Forum with Mark Knopfler. Great show. Adding Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker to the band does zip for me. I'd pay regular ticket prices, but I wouldn't get gouged for it.
I'm waiting for McCartney to tour again...

raise up Jim Morrison and the Doors could play and Cream could open.

but wouldn't McCartney be real expensive to see as well?
Yup, but he'd be more worth it to me than seeing Clapton a second time. I regret not seeing him on his last tour. I hope he does a tour of all the old Beatles and Wings stuff again...

| $Eric Clapton Cream Reunioun Posted: 9/29/2005 1:54:28 AM | Cream open for the Doors.....are u on crack?
i would pay up to 500 to see that show easily. One of the most influential bands in Rock...hands down.

| $Eric Clapton Cream Reunioun Posted: 9/29/2005 11:09:13 AM | | I'd pay to see Cream play. They've influenced so many people, that and the guys are getting pretty old too, so I'd want to see them while they are still alive. | |

| Clapton is God. (For Old Time Sake) Posted: 9/29/2005 7:43:33 PM | I guess they are releasing a DVD of the event. Some people totally love the idea and some people refer to it as seeing The Ramones performing in their 60's.
I'm sure Clapton would have never agreed to the reunion if he thought it would have sucked in any way.
At least it is the original Cream. I don't care how old they are, if they rock, they rock.

| Clapton is God. (For Old Time Sake) Posted: 9/29/2005 11:55:08 PM | Actually the Dvd is from the shows at the Royal Albert Hall...Comprises all 5 nights.

| $Eric Clapton Cream Reunioun Posted: 12/30/2008 6:40:01 AM | I don't think the MSG shows ever went to DVD. After 4 decades, these guys still don't totally get along so a full album or tour is probably not in the offing.

| $Eric Clapton Cream Reunioun Posted: 2/18/2009 4:06:24 PM | The Cream Reunion was awesome! Just three musicians playing great music again, updating their appearances for historical purposes and getting themselves onto DVD for the future. Smart move, great shows and it was the right thing to do at the right time. Yes, the tickets were way overpriced, but for those that got the tickets and attended the shows, they saw some real history that night.
Once in a blue moon, overpriced tickets ARE worth it and this is one band that I would have paid that kind of money to see. The Stones? Nope. The Who? Please. But, what Cream represents in musical history and all of the bands that they influenced as a trio unit, yeah buddy- it would have been worth it. Any thinking musician would have killed for these tickets! Glad they got on DVD, it's an awesome addition to the collection!

| $Eric Clapton Cream Reunioun Posted: 2/18/2009 6:16:19 PM | | I would pay the $75/150 to see them together in a heartbeat. I'd also drive five hours there & back that night for it. Oldies, but goodies. | |

A - its the music BUSINESS. hello.
B - just what is "enough" money?
C - I work with EC from time to time and the guy does a ton of charity gigs. he could make way more money than he does.
D - EC is not the only guy in the band. neither bruce nor baker are anywhere near rich. (or in good health)
everybody is entitled to their opinion but personally his music, tone and general tasteful playing has been good to my ears since I bought the new cream album the week it came out.

| $Eric Clapton Cream Reunioun Posted: 2/19/2009 5:21:41 PM | $3000 a pop to hear a band play "I Feel Free." Wow.
I'd want to see them while they are still alive. Good plan.
