Posted: 9/27/2005 1:31:55 PM | | I am continually harrassed and threatened by one person on this site and was just curious as to if any of u other ladies on here have been threated or harrassed by men on this site? Or if someone knows how to take care of it appropriately? I have turned it any a few times to the site and its still going on and I have never received a response. I have changed names on here and still it does not subside.. I dont think that its fair that I have to quit coming to the site due to this. Let me know what u think ladies.. Thanks | |

If they don't know where you live, or any personal information, ignore them. However, if they do know you it is importand that the site admin are aware of it and your local police department. | |

Posted: 10/25/2005 12:06:03 PM | Aww thanks ... I told him I was taking it to the local sheriff.. who is my uncle.. and I guess he decided it wasnt worth it finally... How many times I turned him in on this site and nothing happened, it kept going, Guess it took the real police to make him stop.. Or maybe he has just decided to quit for a while, havent heard anything for about a month.
I know he has done this to other girls because of them was my sister, she dealt with it all summer long. I just hope he isnt threatening and harrassing other girls on here.. | |

Posted: 1/16/2006 1:12:06 PM | Well here is the update..... It stopped for a couple months.. I think they must have kicked him off... But last week it started up again.. new name. He told me to go ahead and turn him in because he had hacked into someone else's account and he didnt care if they shut him down.
They shut down that account later the same day. They worked quick and I really appreciated it. I just dont see why the guy keeps emailing me and coming back, obviously I'm not interested and threatening me isnt going to get me to be interested.
Hopefully this was the last time. | |

Posted: 1/31/2006 11:52:38 PM | This is just from a computer tech's point of view, so pardon the jargon. Why not get his ip, trace it to the provider level and file a complaint. They'll straight shut off his internet rather than be threatened to be taken to court for providing the means for the harassment to continue. If that confused ya, message me and I could take the whole 2 minutes it would require and give you the info.
Lifes to short to get hassled all the time, enjoy yourself as much as you can.

I guess if you don't think there is an attraction or anything, just tell the person you are not interested. Don't take it as an opportunity to vent and put someone else down for sport. I reported one but the other scared me to death so I left him alone. Strange how people will say things online they would never say in public. Blocking is the only way you can avoid this. | |
