| Do women judge a person from the vehicle they drive? Posted: 10/4/2005 9:25:19 AM | Try not driving a vehicle, or some old rust-bucket....shows you don't have the $$$ they want showered on them...or an inability to travel...just look at how many women have travel listed as one of their interests. Spntanaity is curbed too...can't just "hop in" and go....old vehicles seem to spell "loser" to a lot of women....or financial hard times, like just after a divorce or break-up.
Us guys though...hehehe...see someone driving some old 4x4 covered in mud and all dinged up...we see a guy having a great time!

I also think you would encourage my wanting to purchase a 1973 Camaro form a neighbor of mine. A car will only last so long and a new one will be in the driveway, there are some cars that tell something about you.

Posted: 10/4/2005 10:00:10 AM | I agree with blue eyed gal....I am all about a man that can fix just about anything from household appliances to vehicles and just about anything in between. I LOVE a guy that can "MacGiver" just about anything in any kind of situation and own an impressive collection of tools.
If I see a guy driving a miata I am definately thinkin penis extension!!!!!

If someone doesn't take care of their car, inside or out, that can say more about them...such as are they as sloppy around their house? If someone's driving an older model car, so what? There may be financial reasons for that or they simply like older cars, and again so what? But if they have a car held together with rubber bands and glue (totally unsafe to drive in, is what I mean), and numerous McDonald's bag in the back seat, I wouldn't want to ride in it and I'd hesitate to go to their house for fear of what I might find there ;)

Sometimes i feel that men try to impress people by driving a fancy vehicle. But i do NOT judge anyone by their vehicle.

I drive an old 87 Ford ranger , has about 3 different color's of blue on it as i try to keep it from rusting, so i sand a bit and spray rustoleum on the spots. Have driven it for 18 yrs. and just added the first quart of oil this year, always keep the oil changed .

| Do women judge a person from the vehicle they drive? Posted: 10/4/2005 10:30:52 AM | I think if a women is going to judge me by the car I drive and she is not interested in me because my Mercury Zepher is not a hot car then she is not anyone that I would be interested in spending time with anyway. We wouldnt have anything in common were key issues are concered, judging a persons value by their material possessions.
So if she passes me by its just cool with me. Ive never really been into trying to impress anyone and I just look at my car as just transportation. The funny thing is I just bought a kind of a chick magnet/mid life crisis Saturn SC-2 the other day and for the first time in my life I have a car that may impress people and it was kinda by accident. Am I impressed? No Do I care if other people are impressed? No The sole reason I bought the car was because I was looking for a car that got better gas millage than my Zepher [Zepher 12mpg, Saturn 33MPG]. I came across this car for a good price because it had a few mechanical problem in which I was able to fix for a reasonable price.
You will be much more fulfilled in your relationship if you can find a women that doesnt constantly critic your value as a human by what possessions you own.

I love racing and classic car shows, stuff like that. If a woman is into it than wonderful, it gives us something in common to do togehter. My everyday driver is a Minivan, I have kids, it is practical for me, If you don't like it don't ride in it. My Auto is transportation not a status symbol. Don't judge some one by there car.

It finally gave up the ghost a few years ago. Since she got married and got a better car . I learned years ago it isn't the car it is the man behind the wheel that makes my heart do flip flops.

The cop took my liscense then returned and told me he was giving me a warning instead of a ticket because he could not figure out what color the car was supposed to be.

It got you out of a tight spot. Saved you some dollars and gave peace of mind. Color of car also doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is who is behind the wheel...
