Posted: 12/6/2004 10:28:24 AM | Manly Man....the type that doesnt take sh*t, and can sure as heck take some man down a block or two...He is the rebel, and definately the one who would ride a Harley, and protect his woman in an physical manner...however the down side to this man is he is a MAN, and thus will likely be into hanging with the guys, leaving less time for the woman...he wears Jeans and t-shirts, and would only be caught in a suit at his own funneral...
Metrosexual- the men can dress himself, and do it with style. He can cook, clean, and even take a woman to the mall, and dancing....He is intellectual, and can even go with you to the spa....Get his nails manicured, and keeps himself in perfect order...
Rugged and Rough- these are a bit harder then the manly man, we are talking outdoorsy, riding bulls, dusty, brawny men...He is likely to be a bit of a heavy drinker, and much like the Manly Man is not likely to want to hear the word shoping, or dancing. 4wheelin, is their favorite sport, and wild is his middle name.

However I do shave my chest and have gone tanning before. I live alone and I don't go out too much with the guys. I don't think that constitues me as too feminine though.
I am not sure what a metrosexual is so untill I get clarification I will stay away from the catergory. I am a good listener and that makes me somewhat sensitive to the needs of the ladies but I am also insensitive by accident because I am not very emotional so I just don't understand much of the time. | |

However I can shop til I drop and I need my guy to be able to carry the bags....I want a man who can bbq and make dessert. I like him rough and tough, but with a smooth touch. So maybe All American guy would explain my type a little better. I want a guy who is tough and that can take care of me, but I want him to spend time with me and listen to me too. I do know how to dress well, but mostly dress down or cas.
I relax by playing the guitar, so I can go from playing (limited) sensitive sounding classical guitar, to hard rock...
I guess this makes me a renaissaance man ? lol

How about this... (***Warning Heavy Self Description***)
Loves camping, can chop wood, can build stuff out of wood, brick or steel. Knows how to keep house and cook, has been in the martial arts, and been in more than one scrape. Not afraid to Stand up for his woman, or his beliefs. Likes to dress nice (and can pick clothes) but can do jeans and t shirt - usually does. Generally soft spoken and witty, generally slow to anger. Can spend all day window shopping... enjoys it. Can also sew, crochet, needle point, engrave glass, carve, paint, play guitar and sometimes even sings. Loves to swim, play volleyball, shoot pool and play darts. DOn't much care for beer, but Jack and Coke goes down great, as does the occasional margarita. Don't much care to watch sports on TV, but actually going to a game is great. I own a bike (Honda - Goldwing 1000cc) but don't wear leather. I try to always be polite, I do open doors, hold coats and say thank you.
I like being friendly and outgoing... I like soft and cuddly, not afraid to get dirty, playing in the leaves or mud is fun...

I'm an incredible dad but a *hitty son,
I can frame a house from the foundation to the roof but "some assembly required" scares the hell outta me,
I can play guitar in a band in front of five thousand strangers but have a hard time in front of someone I love,

Posted: 12/7/2004 7:53:24 PM | Well, I'm not really sure what category I fall into. Although I enjoy playing music, I am a working man. My hands are strong and well worked. I do dishes, laundry and cook, but am not afraid to chop wood or put my back into a good constructive job. I love to cuddle and read everything from F.Scott Fitzgerald to H.P. Lovecraft, and still more than enjoy having a woman hold tight for a ride on the hog on a clear brisk Autumn day. I enjoy dressing up, but would rather jeans, workboots, and a loose button up shirt. I more than enjoy hooking into a striper off the coast of Cape Cod, and love to watch football and baseball, but am in touch with a womans' needs; just don't expect it during a game...Lol...Hmmm, unless we have closed in box seats. I enjoy family gatherings, but you're more apt to find me playing with the kids rather than chatting. My ex girlfriend still brings her daughter over to visit me. =) The little squirt has a framed picture of me coloring on the floor with her from Christmass 2 years ago. I love to write music and stories, and am not afraid to show raw emotion in my words. Just don't expect to sit beside me when I write; I write alone for a reason.
Well, I guess that's me...Take it or leave it. But a category? Hell if I know.

play like any other 5 year old i do, love music, i can play a plethora of instruments, including piano. i love to cook, and please my lady. but lately i have kinda gave up on that because they always expect a guy do do things for them but then they just lay there and do nithng. the hell with that!! do me good and i'l do you reall good!! lol i love my whiskey and um...this is kinda turning into a book! i love shopping. not for clothes but for appliances and sh*t like that! | |

I love to cook; cuddling is one of my favorite past times; Been known to pain toenails; can sew in a pinch. Been to a tanning bed more than once, enjoy shopping & really enjoy sitting and talking over coffee...
I can replace a waterpump, radiator, and front seats in a car; replace and fix computer equipment; like to fish; drink beer; smoke cigars (once in a blue moon); watch football, play and watch rugby (FYI-that is like football without all the pads).
So my question is - What am I Rough and Rugged or Metro Sexual? | |
