Posted: 12/10/2004 2:23:33 AM | | ok weeeeeeeeee.... there is this guy and he works at a skatestore... every time i see him when im about to leave he gives me a hug usually he says aww come here and then hugs me... but last time i said it to him and i felt like i forced the hug on him. but he offered a hug to my aunt first... shes old i know he isnt into her... but he always hugs her 2. usually hugs her first then me... sometimes he will just low five me... one time he squeezed my hand for a few seconds. i know he is single ive known him for the whole summer just about but ive only talked to him like 7 times. so does he or doesnt he? | |

Posted: 5/2/2005 9:22:38 PM | Well...I work in construction so I can hONEStly say I'm glad it's a "NO HUG" zone......that goes for two people going into the outhouse at the same time......but to get back on topic.....he's(at your age anyways)either Gay...and he feels that yer gettin "into "him a lil more then what he's comfortable with ,or he's like the worlds nicest guy and isn't inot you and doesnt wanna hurt your feelings by bangin yer ass with no real intentions of any other kind of relationship.One things for sure...he ain't shy!

Posted: 5/2/2005 9:33:50 PM | ok, other than the hug situation, have you shown any interest in him? he could be just a nice guy, but also maybe he's into you, and doesn't think you're into him because you haven't given him any signals. if not, you need to start giving him signals. or just come out and ask him if he wants to go somewhere, if you're not comfortable asking him on a date, ask him to go somewhere with a bunch of friends. more social/relaxed situation, he may be more inclined to say yes, and then you can see whether or not you like each other for who you are, not just little chats and hugs at the skatestore. good luck, i hope everything works out for the best!

the lingering hand squeeze, i've done that, only when i've been interested...
take notice, is he huggin other women he works with/knows that comes there etc???
You haven't let us know if YOUR intersted in him? If you are, flirt with him for a few, take not of his reaction, for all you know, he may be gay, and may tell you!
OR, he may be into you...
this is what i dont' get,,
people, the worst thing in the world they can do, is say NO, it's not gonna hurt you, u may get a "no" 9 times out of 10, but you'll get ONE yes im sure.

When Im dating a guy or just start to see him, he will shake my fathers hand and kiss on cheek or hug my mother, and other family members before me. i think thats really nice and respectful
However it hink you are reading too much into this hug thing. Hugs are just hugs. Its a friend thing, Instead if you like him, you need to start talking to him more... theres no other way. Unless he asks you out first, but is been a whole summer now...and nothing. He could be shy, so start talking with him girl....
I would pay more attention to the hand squeezing. Then if you can get him talking to you more and more, after that - why dont you just get the nerve up and kiss him on the cheek goodbye one day See how he reacts. Who knows he may just kiss you back....[ but only after talking to him for a while, otherwise he will just think you're wierd]
