| Older Women And Younger Men Dating.... What Do You Think? Posted: 2/3/2008 2:14:37 AM | My best relationship to date was with someone who was nine years older than me, if I have one regret, it is that I did not marry her when I had the chance.
I find them mentally and physically stimulating, no mind games and total self confidence For me there is nothing more sexy than a confident older woman

Posted: 2/3/2008 2:31:06 AM | since being on this site I must admit to having qiute a lot of younger men(30 upwards) interested in dating me,even though I put my age preferences on my profile, they still keep contacting me,but I feel more like their mother than a potential date,as I have a daughter who is 32, which they would be more suited to her,so in my opinion, for me ,its something I'm not comfortable with, but the flattery they give me is very nice!!

They know how to walk in high heels, how to dress sexy and yet still be modest. Their voice, filled with confidence and passion. Someone that you can have a real conversation with on a platitude of levels.
I know what that is like Sharpe911, I work part time at a midlands university, but there is no way that I would date any of the young students there. Their old enough be be my daughter, besides I have never to date dated anyone younger than myself
Nothing like a real woman

| Older Women And Younger Men Dating.... What Do You Think? Posted: 2/3/2008 3:32:57 AM | | I married an older man and as he used to accuse me of marrying him for a 'Father Figure' and was very controlling I find myself practically unable to think about dating older men. In the last 11 years since leaving my ex i've predominantly dated younger men and now it seems like the natural thing to do. Having said that, I don't feel my age anyway. | |

| Older Women And Younger Men Dating.... What Do You Think? Posted: 2/3/2008 3:39:35 AM | age is just numbers. people make the difference. all through our lives we change how old we feel and how old we want to be. as the lady above me states she does not feel her age anyway. two people can be compatible no matter what the age difference and can be in love, this does not mean that it will be easy as age can cause problems of its own, but that is not always related to how we feel at our core. you only have to look at some of the older ladies on here to realize how tempting the idea is for a younger man.

For me personally though I probably wouldn't date anyone younger than me anymore as I've found (most of the time) that they either want a family & I've done all that, or we don't have alot in common in the end. My ex was 12 years older than me & although ended we had 7 fantastic years together. I'm sticking to older guys in the future I think!

| Older Women And Younger Men Dating.... What Do You Think? Posted: 2/3/2008 4:28:39 AM | | Personally I wouldn't date anyone much younger than me. I find that if they're too young you have little in common. I prefer the older man but not too old either or you have the same problem and little in common. I think if you click with someone age shouldn't matter. | |

age is just numbers.
Not if you write them out in English, then they're just letters.
I think as long as you're both legal and attracted to each other then what's the problem? Obviously there may be much mirth from some quarters as I help Hilda cross the road but bathing your lover is incredibly romantic and sets the old heart racing but hopefully not too much that she ends up in A&E.

Just because traditionally the guy has been older than the woman doesnt mean anything... can understand why women would like a toy boy... you go girls! Power to the people

I think you just married the wrong man, who was a control freak. In the same manner a younger man could marry an older woman who suffers from the green eye monster of jealousy.
A man had a little bird that sang sweetly, as it few around the house. As time went by people began to hear about the little bird, and the man became more protective of the little bird. So to stop anyone from stealing his little bird, he put it in a cage. But over time as his insecurities grew, that was not safe enough, so he resorted to carrying the bird around with him in a smaller cage. Still his insecurities grew, so he resorted to carrying the little bird securely in the grasp of his hand. One day his insecurities got the better of him, and he held the bird too tightly, and the bird sang no more.
Moral of the story is, if you love someone set them free, let them be the person they should be. If they love you, they will always stay with you

| Older Women And Younger Men Dating.... What Do You Think? Posted: 2/3/2008 8:40:47 AM | Having been with younger men since my late twenties, and deciding 6 months ago that I should now go out with someone my own age or close to, I have come to the conclusion that I would have a younger man any day of the week..

I would not date someone younger than 40 even tho I dont look my age or act it and feel confident and comfortable 10-12 years younger is enough I think!!!

| Older Women And Younger Men Dating.... What Do You Think? Posted: 2/3/2008 11:19:01 AM | | The youngest I've dated was 7 years younger, he was fine! sometimes in fact people thought he was older than me. I used to say that I would only date men less than 16 years younger( so I wasn't old enough to be his mum!), but more recently I find I want to date someone I am compatable with and find attractive, why should age come into that? They will need to be able to cope with me having kids though and I'm not sure much younger men could. | |

| Older Women And Younger Men Dating.... What Do You Think? Posted: 2/3/2008 11:21:24 AM | My brother started dating an older woman when he was 18 she was 31 now 9 years later they are still together.I couldnt imagine him with anyone else as they are so well suited and she is lovely. At first we were all a bit cautious but came round soon enough. If it was a 50-60 year old guy or woman with a 16-18 year old boy or girl i find that a little strange otherwise i guess its just down to the people n who they fall for and theres nothing wrong in it. | |

Elaine2 I had to have a double take at this as you look 40 and i'm thinking 10/12 years difference and you wouldn't date anyone younger than 40? Is the woman mad?
Good on you for looking so good, what's your secret?

| Older Women And Younger Men Dating.... What Do You Think? Posted: 2/4/2008 12:53:13 AM | Hi All,
At 42 with a preference for having a partner older than me, the odds are that there should be a large pool of ladies out there, but I'm still single. Where are all the ladies looking for my age group ?
PS.
