| Have any of you fellow Floridians met anyone here? Posted: 10/28/2005 3:11:09 AM | | I've met two very nice women, and I was referred to the website by a real life friend, so technically 3. Seems like there's an abundance of great people around here, we just need to hook them up into couples! | |

BTW, I'm of the notion that one can not ever have too many friends!

| Have any of you fellow Floridians met anyone here? Posted: 11/6/2005 11:05:14 AM | Hey Jus4fun....have met a lot of people through this site...but I have been going to the group POF get-togethers....have quite a few new friends (which is always good in my book), but no keepers yet.
Was dating someone for 2 weeks but then he abruptly stopped calling or answering his phone. Three days later, he finally responded to me telling me he was scared of this relationship thing we had going on....well, I don't consider two weeks a "relationship". A relationship is built up over time. But, I think I have figured out that he was just a player, and missed "playing the scene". Or, maybe I just wasn't the right one for him. But he did have friends calling him almost 24/7 wanting him to come out the bars (pretty much 7 days a week), so you make your call on it....
So, have met alot of people (both girls and guys b/c I am always open to new friends, male or female), but not much luck with the "finding the right one" yet. I'm sorry you're having such rotten luck. I think there are just a lot of people on here that do not know what they want yet, but find solace in their lonliness through this site. But that's just my opinion. Whether it's or , I couldn't tell ya. Hang in there, just like sales, it seems to be a numbers game...have to get through all of the no's before you can close the big one. Frustrating at times, but you stay positive, and be patient. Make new friends, go out and have fun....you never know who you'll meet when all of you go out somewhere??

Sometimes a man can be so rude when there is so much room to be wise. I'm glad I didn't meet him, 'cause I already knew who he was just by talking on the phone.

| Have any of you fellow Floridians met anyone here? Posted: 11/22/2005 4:55:23 PM | | I met one guy - it seemed to be going pretty well - then he had to leave, because of his job - as time passed it turned out that he had lied about quite a number of things. Basically broke my heart. Not really sure how I now feel about the whole online thing - just a little bit gun shy at the moment...... | |

| Have any of you fellow Floridians met anyone here? Posted: 11/23/2005 7:22:34 AM | | I've met a few people, some I am friends with and some I actually dated. Had one "budding" relationship that I thought had promise and them "poof" she stopped returning my calls and e-mails. One thing I have noticed, and I don't know if it's a local or global issue, but of the women I've met, most misrepresent themselves ... some slightly, and some significantly. I'm not really sure how a relationship could progress if it begins with a perceived need to "lie" about something, but hey, I'm not here to judge, just to have fun until Miss Right knocks down my door! | |
