Posted: 10/31/2005 11:42:15 AM | hopeful that there will be lots of kids this year, take the kids out to get lots of candy. Go thru the candy making them think that I am checking for bad stuff... only to find the good stuff and raid it later...

Posted: 10/31/2005 12:24:22 PM | The last time I went trick or treating was my first year of university (no I will not tell you what year that was).
I never went again after that...possibly because I had the pleasure of spending several hours in the back of a police car trying to convince two large officers that i was not the naughty person who had been stealing candy from the little kids in the neighbourhood earlier that evening.
I did, however, get a huge sack of candy that night. At about ten thirty everyone was just dumping their left over candy into my sack. Sort of made up for the business wit hthe police (almost). | |

Posted: 10/31/2005 12:30:40 PM | Over the past few years Ive been taking kids out the ONE year i talked my kids into staying in fer a change was 2 years ago I bought all kindsa candy, and my kids n i dressed up the house with strobe lights,scarey music, bats, spiders, corpses, fake fog, and low and behold THE WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD WAS AT MY DOOR

So I can tell you what a large number of guys will be doing
You have game three of the world series at 6pm on FOX
Followed by the Flames vs. Detroit at 8pm on CBC
Throw in going to the door and handing out candy and that pretty much covers 6pm to 11pm
After that its pretty much a toss up...
Throw on the old viking costume and plunder the fridge or practice juggling pumpkins while playing the harmonica.
Decisions decisions ...

| What do you do for Halloween?
Posted: 10/31/2009 2:28:46 AM | Usually, I rotate with the wife between handing out candy and taking the kids out to various parts of the neighborhood. With her MS, she can manage a block or so and then returns after getting out with them a bit to settle and hand out goodies.
This year, I'm stuck working.
I was hoping to answer in my pj's and bathrobe trying to convince kids I didn't have candy but that I'd be happy to share my grilled cheese sandwich with them. Maybe even a pop-tart if they were nice........ LOL. (yeah, idea came from http://www.tac.tv/halloween_vid1031) | |

Posted: 10/31/2009 7:48:03 AM | | After taking the kids out for an hour tonight, I plan on going to the movies on my own to watch Paranormal Activity and scare myself to death...or if I chicken out of being scared, I'll be watching Zombieland LOL | |
