| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 11/2/2005 1:06:51 AM | | I like the view from the Bayside Lounge (on the corner of Denman and Davie Streets). It has a great view of the sunsets and English Bay. There's a Starbucks downstairs so the meeting can start there and then, if the meeting is going well, move upstairs to the Bayside and it's round bar. There are a lot of restaurants within a block too. | |

Crescent Beach in White Rock - a few very nice little places down there.

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 11/2/2005 7:30:17 AM | | There is a nice place not far from me called Bailey's on Ogden Avenue in Westmont, IL. It has nice places where you can talk without being overheard. It's almost an intimate place if you want some sort of private place to talk. The menu is fine and the choice of beverages is good. | |

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 11/2/2005 4:00:20 PM | | For a first date I always go with the Cannery.Excellent food and an awesome view of the harbor at night. You'll need reservations and ask for a window table. If your date doesn't put out after you take her to the Cannery, then lose her, fast. | |

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 11/2/2005 8:33:31 PM | In Kamloops:
Sanbiki. Amazing Japanese cuisine. My favorite is the donburi bowls. Mmmm just so yummy! And the stirfried udon. Yum yum yum!
Minos. Greek food, amazingly good.
Lotus Inn. Not the greatest high quality food but a good buffet.
House of Kwan - good Chinese food. Good Buffet through lunchtime though.

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 11/3/2005 6:07:24 AM | I'd say go for Tapas at either BIN 941 or 942 in Vancouver.
My personal preference is BIN 942 at West Broadway and Granville.
If you feel like spending alot of money and like Indian, try Vij's.
As for seafood, the choices I would recommend are either the Cannery or C.
Pasta it would be Anducci's at Lougheed.
But if you want a romantic picnic, get me to cater it for you. My rates are resonable.

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 11/4/2005 4:46:02 PM | Always found going to the golf driving range and then playing a game of minature golf a great & inexpensive first date. Lots of time to chat & get to know each other, also allows for you to concentrate on other things than what to talk about next, possibly have a few laughs.
If the chemistry is there, you can also get nice and close as you help each other out with the swing or putting.
