| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 3/29/2006 4:06:37 PM | oh I so totally agree Smilindad! I've never been to eureka springs but I hear thats a great place to go on a date or a weekend away. Well I was suppose to have this first date last night at 7pm. So I called him around 6:30pm to make sure we were still on and all was in place. but his roommate answers the phone, say he has gone to do something he'll be back later. so I said ok thank you blah blah. So I go to the Restaurant we were suppose to meet at, but Keep in mind I asked him if he would wait outside for me, and he agreed ok. He also has a cell phone, but didn't take it.....hmmmmmmm...anyway, I go to the place go inside look around wait a few minutes and nothing. So I go back home to try to reach him by phone again. and the roommate says he went to eat......I said oh so he went to blah rest. he said yes. So i said oh I can not find him, do you know what he is driving? the guy tells me no. This is his roommate u know he knows what he drives. so I go back and go inside again look around and nothing. Then when i get home this time I try to call to see what happened, he hangs up on me. Then sends me a long accusation email, assuming he knows what I think and what I do. and not to call him again blah blah blah... Like its my fault, man the nerve of some people. I am not the one that had a cell phone and didn't take it, I am not the one that said I would wait outside and didn't. Sorry guys......Just makes me so mad. I am sure not all guys are like that. I just got to rebait and throw the pole back in. | |

Good sea food on Friday nights-- buffet style Stay away from Bonanza Steak house. Bad woman's bathroom! Always nasty dirty!

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 6/1/2006 5:00:49 PM | | In Rogers there is a place called Restaraunt Row, there are about a dozen good places to eat here. you can choose from Chili's, Famous Daves, On The Border, Dixie cafe, O'Charlies, Copelands, Johnny Corino's, Colton's, Appleby's, Oscar's. These are all good places to go. The movie theater is right there close by. And if you are looking for something a bit more casual. In the same area you have IHOP, Village Inn, and Denny's as well as KFC and McDonalds. | |

It is called "Gators" It is a small club that does a lot of karaoke and they have live entertainment on Friday nights. The atmosphere there is really friendly and open.

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 5/3/2008 8:53:55 PM | | I visited the Bristol Cafe at 113 W. Central in Bentonville tonight. I ate the Beef Brisket Buffet tonight for $9.99 and met one of the proprietors, a single and very attractive woman named Barb. (good dancer too) She told me they were having a singles night on Weds from 7-10. They have Karaoke Tuesdays from 7-10 and live music on the weekends. The club is frequented mostly by people over 35. I have been there before to dance on the weekends and always found it to be relaxing and the guests and staff have always been very cordial. It is one of the few places relaxed enough that you can even talk a waitress (or owner) into a dance when they are not busy. Can't beat that! | |

Me on the other hand, I'm about half Cowboy, Half Redneck so I'm great with goin out to the river and findin a quiet spot to sit there and talk or just takin a walk through some fields. I don't like distractions, I like the idea of her and I and that's it. That way I know it's ME makin her smile.
Of course some people aren't comfortable with stuff like that at first, that's cool, Time to hit Capers, Macaroni Grill or Mike's place in Conway if I'm really thinkin things are lookin up. Otherwise, outback

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 7/29/2008 7:05:28 PM | ROMA Italian in Jacksonville is cheaper and better than the two Italian chains in NLR.
New China Restaurant in Jax has plenty of room for groups and new food coming out all the time during rush hour. And plenty of choices, from salad to rice to Sushi, etc American to chinese.
APs SeaFood Buffet in Jax has 3 or 4 different styles of shrimp and other seafood stuff at night but also lots of other stuff for people who don't want fish stuff. And the lunch buffet combines fish, chicken and Thai stuff too. And after that if you want some place to have a good laugh at, check out Fantasy Fashions in Jax or Cupids between Jax and Cabot.... May be setting the mood for more fun.

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 3/13/2009 5:46:26 PM | | I think for a first date, try eating at Shoguns in Bentonville. Nice! They cook right there at your table! Very entertaining too. Then dance the night away at bobbisox in the Clarion Hotel in Fayetteville. That's always fun | |

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 6/21/2009 8:11:16 PM | If you guys have a taste for Mexican, you've got to try Cantina Laredo across from St. Vincent Hospital in the same shopping center as the Container Store. They have a platter you can order that is enough to feed 2 and it has a little of everything. Best guacamole I’ve ever had. They make it fresh at your table. They also have a patio if you want to eat outside.
A nice stroll across the big dam bridge is also nice but I imagine it's kind of buggy now but the breeze at the top is always great. Nice place to watch the sunset if its not 110 outside.

| Good Places to eat, and good places to take a date Posted: 8/25/2009 10:16:42 PM | In the Batesville area, we have New China Buffet and TaiLee's for Chinese, as well as the usual Taco Bell, McDonalds, etc.. KFC is great food at affordable prices, nice quiet atmosphere.
If you want to sit by the river and have a drink together, there's always Josie's next to the park. I like to watch the river racing by and just enjoy each other's company.
