Posted: 11/5/2005 6:29:16 AM | | my ex-boyfriend's car started on fire yesterday and he needed a ride home, so i gave him one. the care ride was fine - we talked, he bought me my dinner and i thought everything was fine. When we got to his house he got real quiet and i asked him if he wanted to have sex and he said no because i wouldnt "shut up". The rest of the night he told me to shut up and totally ignored me. Then i bumped him in his sleep and he said i was a ****. Do you guys think there is someone else? I asked him if there was and if he was sleeping with someone else and he said no, god! I am so sick of him and he was soooo cruel to me last nite - do you guys believe in karma and what goes around comes around? Do u think he'll get whats coming to him for being sooo horrible? | |

Posted: 11/5/2005 7:57:52 AM | I don't believe in Karma or fate or anything like that. Negativity is just bound to follow negative people. It;s not Karma, it's just the way people live life. My exgf had a very negative view of the world, which is funny because she is better off than 90% of the people in this world. It isn't that she's going to get what she deserves, she just isn't ever going to be satisfied so everything in her life is going to seem negative.
I kind of feel the same about fate. So many people seem to believe in "meant to be," yet so many people will end up with someone else other than the first 20 people they thought they were meant to be with. It's just kind of an excuse to me to not take responsibility for your own choices and actions. You always have a choice in things and you always could have taken the other route, so saying anything is fate is kind of a cop out. Life happens, coincidences abound in this world, nothing is predestined or there wouldn't be much to the term "free will" which I would freak out if I didn't have. My life is in my hands. A little off the subject, but I think it's relevant. | |

OT: Karma is real...and we see evidence of it everyday...if you cut someone off in traffic yesterday, you are probably going to drop a glass or stub your toe today. What goes around comes around.
p.s. Karma doesnt really work, when you want something bad to happen to someone...it just kind of happens on its own. | |

I person who has rotten vibes in hiself that does charity work, or does it for his own ego gratification would not get the same results as someone who does charity with better intentions. Not the action, but how you are being.
If it was based on actions, I wonder why Ron and Nicole got slaughtered and OJ got off?

Is this relationship good for you? Are you worried that you would be making a mistake by putting some distance between you and this man? His statements were disrespectful and abusive.
Please know that you deserve better than this and I hope you don't speak to him the same way. I also hope he gets help for whatever has caused him to be so harsh. | |
