| | Breast ImplantsPage 1 of 6 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) | | Okay so, I am thinking about getting some breast implants. I would like to know how men feel about them. I don't want to go much bigger then I already am, as you can see from my picture. I just want to be able to walk around without wearing a bra, I want to wear a bathing suite without it squishing my boobs to nothing! BUT, I don't want to do something that is going to prevent someone from liking me. I don't want to seem too "high maintenance". I like to take care of myself so why not give my boobs a little something extra=) I just want some opinions on the subject, let me know what you think peeps! | |

| Breast Implants Posted: 11/8/2005 11:16:30 AM | I think it's crazy to cut into healthy breast tissue to insert water balloons
Why would anyone want fake breasts - so what if they're bigger, they're fake.
|
| Breast Implants Posted: 11/8/2005 11:25:24 AM | I'm not interested in artificial enhancement except for good medical reasons (e.g., reconstruction). Bigger is not better - just more to sag later! OK, fun to look at, fun to fondle up to about a D, but NOT necessary.
Can they really change shape and make 'em "perky" with implants (without also bigger)? That's news to me. Still doesn't change my opinion, but perhaps I'm less opposed.

| Breast Implants Posted: 11/8/2005 11:37:49 AM | Okay...a couple of things to the point:
1) I've known alot of women to get implants - with differing results - from constant pain and women who think the implants make them look fatter, to constant elation. I have seen implants bring otherwise shy people out of their shells. I have heard of women that have lost nipple sensitivity. Now I guess the point is to look at you...after all, that's who you're really doing it for. Do you think you need them? On the flipside I have known large women to get reductions where the better solution would be to hit the gym and lose some weight. Hate to be blunt, but quite often a great chest is overshadowed by a bad body. You describe yourself as 'a few extra pounds'...perhaps it's a better idea to get your body to a point where the boob issue becomes less of a 'body satisfaction' issue and more of a proportion issue. I don't think any guy will argue that there are few things better than a great pair of boobs on a tight-bodied woman. Well...maybe a brain. Maybe.
2) There is no such thing as fake boobs. If they EXIST, they are real.

| Breast Implants Posted: 11/8/2005 11:54:21 AM | I've got to go with what most of the ladies have already posted above, and that breast implants on just about any woman aside from those who need it for reconstructive or severe psychological purposes is a waste of money and uneccessary health risk.
The female body is a beautiful thing whether you're small chested or top heavy, and there are tons of men who prefer either end of the spectrum. As for my tastes, I believe any female body is attractive if its in propotion: i.e. the top matches the bottom; a slender woman with a small bust and small hips can be just as sexy as a curvaceous woman with a large bust and wider hips. It is when things are vastly out of proportion (e.g. a woman with a non-existent bust and hips from here to next Thursday, or a woman with breasts larger than her head and hips too narrow to properly support them) that things don't look as good (at least in my opinion).
So unless this is something you truly deem necessary at this point in your life, I would beg you to reconsider as it seems you have an ample bosom already and you should leave well enough alone. Besides, breast implants feel weird and often attract more negative attention than positive anyway.
Just my 2 cents | |

| Breast Implants Posted: 11/8/2005 12:18:24 PM | | I have thought about getting them but am scared of surgery. In the meantime I'll wear my trusted push-up bras. lol | |
|
| Breast Implants Posted: 11/8/2005 1:11:43 PM | | I don't fully understand why women want breast implants you have to love what you were given thats like saying i need to go get a pe**s implant...if i'm not good enough for the one i'm with then maybe it's time for me to find someone new... | |

| Breast Implants Posted: 11/8/2005 6:43:46 PM | There are a lot of less than satisfied women who have had boob jobs. Think of how many women have had multiple surgeries because they weren't happy with the results-too small, uneven, too hard, leaking. Sometimes you can't tell they're not natural, but other times it's pretty obvious. They're pretty good at hiding the scars these days. If you decide to go through with it, make sure you find a VERY GOOD doctor.
To answer your specific questions... Personally, I prefer the feel of natural breasts, although with a top-notch job, it's really hard to tell. (Hey, I'm from LA. I've touched a fake breast or two.) I doubt implants would prevent someone from liking you, and I don't see "high maintenance" as being an issue.
IMHO, the reasons you gave just aren't good enough to make it worthwhile. Only you know how important it is to you, but don't do it unless you're sure.

| Breast Implants Posted: 11/8/2005 7:06:00 PM | they're over-rated.... but if it makes you feel better about yourself, well, go for it. i personally wouldnt let implants dictate to me if i liked a person or not, one way or the other. if i were dating someone and they said 'hey im going to get some breast implant tomorrow' i wouldnt dump them or anything for it. but i would REALLY make sure that they knew what they were getting into. did you know that every time you go under anaesthesia you may not wake up? boobs heehee i love that word... boobs boobs boobs | |

| Breast Implants Posted: 11/9/2005 11:11:12 AM | | No, it's not work related! LOL! No, a man did not tell me to do it. I just want perfect boobs. I LOVE breasts and not just my own, I just want mine to be perfect! I think boobs are SO HOTT!! I also think that because I already have boobs, once I get the implants they won't look fake because my real boobs will be surrounding them. I don't know if this is true but it sounds good! LOL! I have the consultation tomorrow and I'll have my boobs by the end of the month! Things move fast in the plastic surgery world! HAHAHAHAHA!!! I'M SO EXCITED!!!! | |

| Breast Implants Posted: 11/9/2005 11:19:27 AM | Hey you are totally fine the way you are...and well you are young (22) why not wait if you are going to do something until a bit later.....like late 20's early thirtys....your tits look fine the way they are, and well if you get them done later that would most likely be a lil more beneficial.
Cheers | |
|
| Breast Implants Posted: 11/9/2005 11:40:24 AM | I am not saying I am not "fine" the way I am. I LOVE myself, but there is nothing wrong with a little self improvement=) I don't want to wait until I am 30-40 and can't enjoy them because of my age. I also don't want to get them when I am married and can't have any "fun" with them! I am young, why not party while I can!! Plus when I turn 30-40 they don't just disappear! I'll still have my perfect HOTT boobies! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I love it!!!
Yes Boys, I will post a boobie shot when they are healed=)

| Breast Implants Posted: 11/9/2005 12:03:22 PM | Just about everyone who posted said why bother getting implants...only the drooling animals voted yes. Still, you are going to do it, so why did you bother to ask? The stench of conceit is thick around you. You need another kind of doctor, not a plastic surgeon.
Sad. | |
