Anything BUT the cheap shlt for this coffee nut! ;)

I grind my own beans...the aroma while brewing is awesome, and it tastes better, too! I tend to buy two bags...an Eight O'Clock French Roast, and then Starbucks Expresso and mix them up for a perfectly rich blend!

I like AL Van Houte. I switch back and forth between the Columbian and French Roast.

If I'm letting someone else make it, I'll go for Tim's. There is some kind of drug (other than caffeine) in that stuff, I swear. Gets the heart pounding...

Always drink it black!

Plenty of studies say otherwise and promote the use of coffee in moderation.

Actually i don't really think it's a particular type of coffee as much as it is how it's made. I mean the best coffee i have ever tasted was in those old aluminnum coffee makers-they never get washed and over the years a film builds up inside and that's what makes coffee taste really good! These coffee makers we have today-just don't cut it. Just ask any Cowboy in Texas.

A perculator is good too..but i choose and use the Aluminniumumumumum ones.

Cowboy in Texas

MMm cowboys......

When I was younger my dad used to make coffee on the campfire. I dont knwo how, but damn it was good.

My grandpa adds salt to his coffee before it brews. Just a few grains. it's supposed to bring out the flavours?

My dad always complains and says he can taste the salt. Go figure.

"When I was younger my dad used to make coffee on the campfire."

See there you have it......Campfire Coffee! I bet he used an aluminum Coffee Canister.

let's all REVOLT and throw away our Mr. Coffees!

I was told the reason for the pinch of salt was for ,.if the coffee scorches or gets old-the salk will keep it from tasting bad. If that's true or not i'm not sure. I never put salt in coffee-probably because, it never last very long around here. I'm a coffeealic.

after 3 pots....lights turn on as I pass by them!

Lets see, do I love coffee? Heck yeah! I used to be a Folgers nut and before Free Trade came into play, I would travel 2 hrs across the American border to load up on it. I don't know if they changed it or if my tastes have changed, but now I prefer an extra fine grind in Melitta, and believe it or not, the Real Canadian Superstores brand. The 'Presidents Choice' gourmet dark roast extra fine grind with Arabica beans. It's a rich and full bodied coffee without being bitter.

Timmies.........did someone say they were going to Timmies? I LOVE Timmies......Mmmmmmmmm, coffee!
