| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:02:11 PM | | I deff believe a person can be too thin... but as long as you're healthy I Can't see it being a turn off. If you don't fatigue from climbing stairs bc lack of nuriousment, or throw up after u eat i guess you're fine. Some people have small bone structures and are naturely thin. I wish i was one of them~ lol | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:04:29 PM | | I watch what I eat and run close to 100 miles per week so I definitely am not fatigued...I am just petite but I get a lot of strange looks...I know people think I have an eating disorder but I don't... | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:13:08 PM | You are attractive... But the only guy that could ever make you happy is fictional, thats right; Forest Gump. Tone down your run distance and enjoy your life a little more. No matter how much you run, you are going to get old and die. So you might as well enjoy it.
Maybe try eating some fatty foods, men like curve more often than not and skinny women lack curve.
|
| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:23:14 PM | | maybe she loves to run... Im an avid runner myself, I don't do it to lose weight (started it for that reason) People like us, its part of our lifestyle. Do what makes you happy, right? | |
|
| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:25:38 PM | | The way I see it is, if you are healthy and you are happy with your looks then who cares what everyone else thinks. There are some people that like curve but there are some that don't as well . | |
|
| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:26:22 PM | | For sure...I have been running since I was 11 years old...It is a lifestyle...Granted one a lotof others don't understand...I eat between 3,500 and 4,500 calories per day...Why the stereotype surrounding people like me.... | |
|
| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:32:13 PM | seriously, if you love running...and eat that much, there is nothing wrong with you.
There's a problem when you're not eating and still running that much. I disagree with the guy who said tone it down and run less. That's like someone telling me to quit working out or stop playing baseball. If i love it, i'm going to do it. There's no harm in that.
And good for you on running that much, very impressive

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:32:18 PM | | readyforyourlove.. there is sterotypes about all ppl regardless of your size, ppl think that because your skinny your anorexic, im heavier, but ppl think i over eat... your not going to pease anyone but yourself and when you learnt o relize that and forget what others have to say then you will find what makes you happy continue doing what makes you happy and dont worry so much on what others think. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:36:41 PM | To answer your question "can a girls thinness be unattractive?"
Absolutely. I suspect you would be considered medically underweight based on the averages, and on BMI.
Too skinny is not nice. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:37:49 PM | | I should add that if I tried to run like that my knee's would explode. I am somewhat jealous... | |
|
| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:43:45 PM | To answer your question, yes there is a point where thinness can be unattractive to some, but that's a very general statement.
You haven't posted any photos of your body so I can't give you my opinion on you specifically. Based on your face, you look beautiful and just fine weight-wise.
I will say that I know infiinitely more guys who would prefer dating someone who was too thin than someone who was overweight. It's all about personal preference and perspective.
If I were you, I wouldn't worry about my appearance one bit. You're beautiful and in good shape to run that much so you are far, far ahead of the curve.

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:46:47 PM | Readyforyourlove ~ I totally understand what you mean. I'm 5'6" and weigh just under 100 lbs. I know some people think I have an eating disorder.. which I know I definately do not. I can eat all I want and not gain weight. It's called high metabolism. Some people do get to the point that they're too thin though. But, some guys prefer girls that are bigger, and some love girls that are very slim. Just never let people's opinions get to you, that's all. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:48:13 PM | | "Ready" I totally understand where you are coming from. I too am thin and have to work hard just to maintain what I have. The smallest I've been was 75 pounds. I'm 4"11" and right now I weigh 86 pounds. I work out and kick box, but I can't just sit still ya know? I eat a lot and it's mostly all healthy food. Once in a while I do have my junk (the kids love that!) But I am healthy, just can't keep any weight on at all. Just love who you are, know that you are not abusing your body, and continue to be healthy. It shows in your face that you take care of yourself! | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 1:52:41 PM | | I wish I had that problem! Seriously, I've dated women who were what most would consider BBW, I've dated strippers and just about every type in between. The thing that attracts me is who a woman is and how she feels about herself. I've read a ton of threads about this type or that and of course a person may be the most visually attracted to a certain type, but the bottom line for me is who she is as a person. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 2:12:05 PM | | If your worried that Calista Flockheart may whip your ass in a toe to toe match... its probably a pretty good indication you need to start consuming some more carbs. | |
|
| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 2:19:01 PM | | I agree with the 1st post. Id do you, but some people do look better with some weight. Lindsy Lohan and Kelly Clarkson both looked better when weighing more in my opinion, But if they came to my house at the weight they are now and wanted to bang me; I wouldn't turn them down... That would be really cool. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/22/2005 2:40:40 PM | | Since you are looking for ladies I will just say you look just fine in print. But I have never met a person with anorexia that thought they looked too thin. Not saying you have this. | |
|
| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/23/2005 3:04:18 PM | | holy crap, i weigh almost double you! I'm a few inches taller and healthy too though. Everyone's got different ideals. i've known girls that were super thin because they worked themselves out to death. Glad to hear you're eating lots and not one of them tho! It really depends on body type I guess. I've got some friends around your height that are about 100 lbs and look great, and there are others that look sickly. I'm sure there are lots of people that will find you attractive, some that won't, but everyone faces the same situation. | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/23/2005 3:10:16 PM | I think your beautiful. :)
But to let you knwo if you were "too thin" im thinking that we'd need to see a fully body pic, to fully judge. Know what I mean?
If you THINK that your too skinny, people will sense that.
Body pic....body pic.....*grinz*
Ah, your too cute, Sugar.

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/23/2005 3:18:51 PM | I'm not a fan of super thin girls normally, but there's healthy thin and anorexia thin, as long as you're healthy, you will be attractive to most guys.....I think that goes for any body type, though | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/23/2005 4:12:33 PM | | I am very similar to Honey Dipped Blonde. I have an extremely high metabolism and can eat, and eat, and eat and not gain a pound. I am 6ft and weigh about 125-130lbs. I have had men tell me I am too thin, but there is not a whole lot I can do about it. I am on medication and do everything the doctors tell me too, but the fact remains, I will be thin like I am for the rest of my life. If a man cannot appreciate you for more than what size pants you wear (heavy or thin) they are not worth your time. :) | |

| Can you be too thin? Posted: 11/23/2005 5:17:50 PM | | yes. rarely am I blindsided with attraction for a girl that's under 120 lbs. I'd just prefer to not see your abs... and for sure never a rib. | |
