It's enlightening to me . What have all of you gleened from this place and have any of you met with any from here ( NOt pof just the forums ).

I'm on an extended roadtrip of mostly pleasure come January. Would love to meet up with some of you fine hunnies and hounds.

This place has become a very big part of my life. I've had moments where I've wondered if it's a good thing but then I realize that it's all in how I perceive it. It HAS and will continue to be a good place for me with some wonderful people.
I have been challenged by the things that some share here. I have run the gammit of emotional responses to some posts and it has helped me to learn more about myself and the limited thinking that I sometimes engage in. It has opened my eyes to new possibilities and shown me that despite our abbrassiveness here from time to time, we are very much an online family or community and I'm happy to be a part of it.
To the men...thank you to those who have shared openly and honestly that I might understand you better.
To the women...thank you for your continued support and the sense of sisterhood I have found with some of you.
To the moderators and admin...thank you for making this place available for us. I can never underestimate the good intentions with which it was founded and I'm grateful to be a part of this.
And I have so much freaking homework/assignments/finals that I won't be able to enjoy my special day.
::whispers:: Turning 40 hasn't been easy...I'm scared shytless of growing up.

Something strange about saying 40 now. It's freaking me out a bit. I don't feel emotionally ready for this milestone. God grant me to age gracefully and well!
I am sure I won't be able to find any time to make this a celebration but ah heck maybe the less attention it gets from me the better.
