Posted: 11/28/2005 5:54:33 AM | For those new to this board, it is important to understand that I do not troll to make mischief, intent to mock, or what some call "blaspheme". My views are just as important to me as anyone else’s are to them here, and it is right to debate those views with respect. I don't believe speaking one's mind is disrespectful, and I do not delude myself with rants.
The question is: Should I be defensive every time someone attacks me, or should I just pass it off?
I'd like to think a 'Christian' would understand, 'throwing stones' are a pretty feeble, if not stupid, way of correcting an individuals freedom of speech. | |

ALL "Christians" should realise this. (and 'non'-christians too)
Conversely, I have been called an 'idiot', 'stupid', and a slew of other childish names by a troll poster on another thread; simply for my expressing views, scientific facts and evidences 'For' the Creation Account, as opposed to the Evolution Theory...Go Figure.
As a side note though, here are a couple of books for suggestion to read, as to the topic of the historical accuracies and truths of the "Bible"; (Both Old & New Testaments)

I am also a person that is not with out a belief system, I do try and sluff off certain attacks, but then after awhile I bite back.
Maybe it is not something I should do, but it happens.

Posted: 11/28/2005 12:53:06 PM | One thing to keep in mind and Im not saying you have done this, but in a forum like this with ppl who belive in God and Jesus as well as others, ppl can get hurt I guess or take things the wrong way when ppl who dont belive say things like you cant belive there is a God or your crazy to belive that and it just seems to build and get bigger and bigger sometimes. And that can go the other way as well some person who says they are a chriatian telling some who does not belive the are crazy or dumb or even your going to hell.
A true christian should allways forgive and forget, Jesus did!
I think both Christian and non christian ppl on this forum should be more respectful and try to help each other not blast each other.

As you've notice I'm Prime Target for the personal attacks around here by a few and new identities pop up daily seemingly for the only purpose but to stalk me and harrass me. If I took what they said seriously I'd be a very bitter person, but I choose to sit back and think the following: If they really have to pick me apart personally OR spiritually, than they themselves truly have alot of deep issues that they need to sort through themselves. But hey...if picking on me makes them feel better....whatever works. It's just like being on the playground with the bullies back in 4th grade. No sweat.... do your thing, try to consciencly be aware of HOW you are wording things and enjoy the forums! The best thing you can do is be true to what you beleive, and just promote it/debate it with respect for those around you.
