I also like to read if they have posted in the forums.

I prefer stalking the forums (Did I say stalking ? oops) and getting a real feel of the type of person they are because it's conversation. How a person handles different conversations is what can turn interest into attraction or vice versa. | |

Posted: 11/29/2005 2:26:08 PM | we all start with a picture. POF is pretty much set up that way, unless a person posts no picture. From there, I check out interests to find out if the person has ANYTHING in common with me.
After that, off to the About me section to see if he says anything in there that would make me run screaming. Or intrigue me enough to email him.
If he's posted in the forum, I'll read that to see what he's had to say. Some has been VERY interesting reading. | |

I hardly ever look at a females profile if it has no picture on it.
I read the profile, and if I see something i like I respond, most of the time even if I say " I like to ski also " they won't return the message as 90% of females even if looking for only friends which is a line, will only go from looks.
I wish I could be so shallow. | |

In the picture it's not so much about looks, but rather how the person is choosing to display himself. I skip over those that are flicking off the camera, show themselves surrounded by girls, chest shots, ab shots, trying to look "bad", etc.
Then I go into the profile and see if we have anything in common. | |

I think you can tell quite a bit....especially if they have lot's of prefer not to says or are very vague in their profile like ask me and I'll tell you. Well if you don't tell me the bare basics then why should I then be tempted to ask anything? I also pay attention to details. Try and see if we would even have anything in common. I also notice if they are on forums and if they instant message a lot. And of course if they know how to selpl or TYPE IN CAPS. | |
