AND I JUST HAVE RECEIVED ANSWER FROM 3 GIRLS WHICH I REALLY APPRECIATE, BUT NO ONE SINGLE WHITE AMERICAN WOMEN HAS DONE SO, AND QUITE HONESTLY I M FINE WITH THAT BECAUSE I AM NOT LOOKING FOR AN SPECIFIC RACE TO ENGAGE WITH, BUT I SEE WITH CONCERN HOW LATINOS LIKE MYSELF COULD PROBABLY BEEN EXCLUDED FROM BEING HIGH PROFILED BECAUSE OF THE ETHNICITY, IN DISPATE OF THE FACT THAT MANY LATINOS CAN BE EVEN SMARTER, FUNNIER, MORE SUCCESFUL, AND EVEN CUTTER THAN MANY OTHER GUYS OUTHERE. Do you mean cute or are you referring to being "Cut" as in being muscular? Why would being Latin have anything to do with how muscular you are? It depends on the person.
I think your Latin background would be a bonus to an American girl. Worldly accents can be very attractive.
It's not your ethnicity...... it's just you . Get some female friends or family to look over your profile and give you tips on how to seem more attractive. From there it's up to you to hold their interest. The fact that you offer up your residence to strangers and block people looking for "long term" makes it seem that you're looking only for sex. If that's what you are looking for be more direct but don't expect too many responses.

Posted: 10/6/2008 6:08:04 PM | Alright. I generally don’t respond to posts that involve race because I always look like a racist when I am the farthest thing from it.
Let me start out by saying my screen name is not “ScottishBabe”, or “GaelicQueen”, or anything remotely based on my heritage, which by the way I am extremely proud of and is a huge part of my life in regards to my family. You can’t get anymore redneck, hillbilly, old school, hot blooded Scottish than my family. To this day my grandmother sleeps with a gun under her pillow. My grandparents come from the Appalachian Mountains, from a place called Sigma; it’s about 20 miles INTO the mountains from Appalachia.
Ever wonder why the British stopped at the Appalachians? It was all the crazy Highlanders living up there that picked them off. To this day the Feds can’t get in to investigate the illegal activities going on. The history of my family and its culture is at the same time ignorant and self-defeating and enlightening and freeing.
But that being said you would never know that by reading my profile. When I see someone identifying with the culture of the ancestors and family so much that it even leaks into their screen name, it makes me wonder if there is anything to that person other than wanting to belong, somewhere, with someone, anywhere….. with anyone. It’s something they are putting up within the first 10 seconds of meeting someone.
Add on top of that the negative stereotypes of ANY given culture and boom you have instant rejection. Do you want someone to choose you because you are from a particular culture? Or do you want someone to choose you for you? Drop the ambience and tell us about you first. You can lay the culture thing on after date 5 when she is emotionally invested enough to look past preconceived notions.
And as for the dominating controlling aspect that is a stereotype about any certain cultures? I dare any man to try to man handle a Scottish woman in any way. | |
