Just an honest question so don't shoot/flame me! If a fella is going bald, why would he not just shave it all off as opposed to having the odd tuff of hair here an there??? Bald can be very sexy on a man! So guys, what's your take on this?

Kit.........you mean you dont like the "barcode", but they look so nice flapping in the wind. It isnt easy to grow your hair 10 inches longer on just one side you know!

Seriously, If I were going bald Id have to do a Patrick Stewart, plus I hear women find it sexy....... If you girls find it sexy, pass me the razor!

Unfortunitly I'm going bald and I'm only 22. It comes off all the time because it's just easyer for the army to shave it off then keep it trimmed.

Elvis still has a nice jet black pompadour, but if it started falling out, I would definitely shave it all off. But the chest hair poking out of my sequinned jump-suit stays... LOL

shaved heads are yummy.. so no fear if you are starting to bald.. doesn't matter when you take it all off.
(off the top of ur head of course) clarification.

If a woman ever told me to shave my head bald because it looks better, I would insist she satisfy my desire for her to hide one or two aging characteristics.

@w82b... considering you do not even have a pic up, that is a very easy thing for you to say, now isn't it???...... LOL..... seriously - there have been many surveys done that indicate women tend to take care of themselves much better than men, and thus, tend to age much more gracefully for the most part.... not all women, granted, but, then if you shave your bald head, maybe you could pick up a young-un like so many men seem to like.... LOL.... ~R

I don't prefer the young ones.... they're not to my liking.
I stick to my age group, or at the least, with mature minded women.

It would all depend on the woman's appearance.

I guess it all depends on what you are comfortable with...but, shaved is much easier to maintain for a fellow is it not? An don't shoot me for this, but as has been mentioned before, I think that all of the cosmetics etc that are available to women, makes them age at a lesser pace then our male counterparts...there are of course exceptions to the rule....least that is what I hear a lot of my g/f's say...

why would he not just shave it all off

This is sort of what I did. What hair I had left, on the sides, I always had it cut way down, tennis ball like.

I just thought one day, what the hell. The hair was short enough so I knew what I looked liked without it. Got the razor out, and the rest is history. Almost 10 years now. It wasn't for vainity, and my hair was too curly to comb over. Just liked the look, and it was cheaper than going to the barber.

Although I have never taken it all off, I don't see it as being easier to maintain. I do keep mine clipped short, but think shaving it would be a lot more work. I hate shaving my beard let alone having to do my whole head.

Here I go gettin into trouble again! lmao.....k Pat? I can't see the back of your head to tell how it looks....from the front, I have no problem with it....I was talkin bout the bald spots with hair pulled across for good measure...an the little tuffs of it stickin all over....the part of your head that has not hair, has no hair! lol So that is all good....on the other hand, I could in fact pic you being bald, contacts and perhaps a pierced ear???? OMG you are gonna be so pissed at me!

^^^^ Pierced nipples?... LOL

Actually Pat, you already look pretty cool in the pic on your profile where you are wearing the shades and the suit. You almost look like a wise-guy or a good-fella.

But I could also imagine you with a shaved head and a goatee or a soul patch to go along with the moustache. And, maybe not contacts, but tinted glasses...
