| | Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian?Page 1 of 5 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) | | Ladies if you met this nice guy and you hit it off and you asked up to your place to eat for a nice turkey dinner or something with meat in the menu and he mention he's a Vegan vegetarian. Would you still see him and make him something that he could eat? Or would you dump him? | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 12/4/2005 10:04:41 AM | | I dated a vegetarian, there is no issue as long as you don't b*tch to each other about the food you eat...but if you do that then you shouldn't be together. | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 12/4/2005 10:44:32 AM | | Now I became a vegan about 10yrs ago because of health reasons. I ended up with Gout is a type of arthritis, a condition in which uric acid, a waste product that occurs naturally occurring within the body, rises above normal levels. Rather than being flushed by the kidneys and through the urine, as it normally is, it forms crystals and deposits in the joints. These deposits give rise to inflammation of the joints, causing pain, swelling, redness and tenderness of the area. Most typically the joint affected is that of the big toe, but gout can also affect the ankle, knee, foot, hand, wrist and elbow. Uric acid crystals may also form deposits in other areas such as under the skin or in other soft tissues, and in the kidney or urinary tract. | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 12/4/2005 12:52:35 PM | | I would have no problem dating a vegan or vegetarian. And just like if someone has allergies, if you invite someone for diner, you make sure that there is food that they can eat. | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/1/2006 9:38:58 PM | | If I was truly interested in someone I wouldn't NOT date them because they were a vegetarian but I come from a big family of hunters and meat is always on our menu here. I myself love it and I think it would be hard for me to take it out of my diet for him. I know chances are he wouldn't ask me to but I have no idea how he'd deal eating at my house when we eat it at almost every meal. | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/1/2006 10:01:55 PM | | There should be no problems with dating anyone because of the foods they choose to eat - that would be weird if it was a problem. I guess I really don't understand why it would be a prob. | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/3/2006 11:17:37 AM | I'd love to say that I'd make him something else and the 1st couple times maybe I would, but honestly in the long run - I love meat and not sure I could handle having someone around that didn't! I mean what's a BBQ w/o Ribs, Hamburgers and hotdogs!! | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/3/2006 11:29:42 AM | | I would still have him over and just make something he could eat. As long as we respect each other's choices, there isn't a problem as far as I'm concerned. | |
|
| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/3/2006 11:35:31 AM | No problem dating a Vegan or Vegetarian as long as they don't try and convert me. It's easy enough to make dishes that are meatless and cook the meat on the side and eat that myself. | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/3/2006 11:47:55 AM | I for one don't eat any red meat or pork.. and this has never been a problem with any relationship that I have been in.
Long as he eats kitty then there shouldn't be a problem at all!

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/3/2006 12:29:44 PM | | and you can BBQ all kinds of veggies that are yummy and some vegatarians eat fish and you can grill that all up too...i'd surely not place limitations on what a person eats to make them compatible. | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/3/2006 12:45:26 PM | | I couldnt date a Vegan/Vegetarian? I like meat too much and I like to cook. As a meat eater I'd find it virtually impossible to cook foods without meat and I'd have to cook 2 different meals all the time. | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/3/2006 3:07:58 PM | | I wouldn't have a problem dating one...it's an opportunity to be introduced to new things right? I wouldn't want him pressuring me to become one though...I love meat!! And the steak cravings I've been having lately....ohhh no I'm drooling again! | |

| Ladies would you date a Vegan, Vegetarian? Posted: 3/4/2006 7:01:11 AM | | I believe no one should be pressured into anything they don't want to. I became a vegan because of health reasons (see top of page 1) and I've found my whole out look on life has changed because of that, and my health has improved. | |
