Posted: 12/26/2004 11:05:16 PM | WHY will no-one agree with me that I am UGLY? I am!!! And I’m sure everyone can see that. So then why did I spend the past hour arguing with two trying to prove to them that I am ugly?
What is it with the lying these days?
First they lie to me by telling me that I am not ugly and then when I try to tell them the truth that I am...I am told that I am wrong!
Terrible…
I’m only trying to face the truth… Which is that I am ugly!
Any ideas how I can prove that to some people?

Now as to why we won't agree with you, it's because it's bull. You do have pictures posted you know, and we can judge for ourselves. :P Perhaps you have self esteem issues that prevent you from realizing that you're attractive, but that's not going to stop me from telling you that I think you're pretty.
Now, that's not to say that I think you have a career ahead of you as a model or anything, but ugly? Seriously, stop being foolish.

Granted it would be nice to have a closer pic of your face, but when I look at you, I don't see someone that is ugly. Honestly, I understand if you feel that way, people can feel any way they want, even if it's not entirely true or based on fact. I figure the reason girls don't seem to find me attractive is because I'm a fat load, but on the plus side I've got man boobs, which means I get to fondle myself all day long.
To be serious for moment though (I do have man boobs and I do touch them from time to time….. does that make me a bad person? BLAHAHAHAH), when I look at you I see a good looking girl, maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, but, no one is everyone’s cup of tea, I myself am no ones cup of tea…. At least no one has ever ordered a tangy b*tch-titted man-child before…. Someday perhaps….. all dogs have their day… and if they don’t then they hump some legs anyway…. Mmmmmmm humping legs…..

Hell I can sprint like a mother**** and lift 350 pounds, but girls don't care about that, they care about you being cut. In fact it's hilarious when you have people who go to the gym all the time and then right after a work out and drinking their poweraid and eating their portion controlled meal they smoke it up like a .....well... a mother****. See it’s not about being healthy for a lot of these people, it’s about looking good. Now I know with a statement like that somebody’s going to get their panties in a twist, so whatever you people out their know I’m right.

But it's not the truth, and I'm pretty sure plenty of people will post and back me up on this.
Let me put it this way. Do you think I'm ugly? I'm not. Despite the fact that probably only 1 in 20 or 30 women would find me attractive, I wouldn't say I'm ugly. Why? Well, partly because of my appearance... a lot of people dislike long hair on guys or facial hair. But more importantly, since I'm average looking I'll only appeal to people who happen to like my particular appearance. Sure, if I looked more like Orlando Bloom or Johnny Depp, heads would turn all the time because they happen to appeal to a lot of women. But I don't, so I have to work with what I have.
So where am I going with this? Well, basically what I'm saying is just because a lot of people don't care for your appearance, doesn't make you ugly. Even if you're one of the people who doesn't care for your appearance. :P

Why is it you feel you are being lied to? It has long been established that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Are you a ravishing beauty that men will stand stunned when you walk into the room, fight to get a morsel of your attention? No, probably not, however, you are far from ugly, I think you are cute, your face has a personality, you do not possess the plastic looks of a super model, but this is not a bad thing. You have a personlity, and wit and sense of humor that changes how those that interact with you perceive you.
I too am probably too far away, and too old for a date, so I am not making any brownie points her looking to get into your pants, but I will say that I would not be ashamed to be seen with you, or ashamed to tell people that I knew you or dated you. You are much to harsh on yourself...
To each their own, I am sure there are guys here that would not talk to you, I am equally sure there are guys here that would be happy to get to know you better. I think that obvious by the fact that someone obviously took the time to chat you up and compliment you, further they "argued" with you that you are NOT ugly... that in and of it self suggests that they are seeing something you do not when you look into the mirror.
Much in the same way that few of us will recognize our own voice when hearing it on a tape, those outside of you do not see you in the same way you see you.

Yes you have long hair and a beard, but I know some women love long hair, though facial hair seems to be one of those things that society is trying it's hardest to beat out of people. In fact through the miracle of social engineering, most body hair on a man is being categorized as bad.

Okay, so perhaps you fall into the category of cute or plain, rather than ravishing or gorgeous, I have seen ugly, you ain't it... If you don't believe that... go out to hot or not, and browse, there are a number out there that range from ugly to repulsive. You are neither. In all reality you rather resemble a gal I dated for a while (it did not work, but that is another story, she had a bad case of social anxiety disorder and ended up pushing me away) and I did not find her ugly at all.
Humility is great, beating your self up in an attempt to be humble is a bit drastic.
