Posted: 12/31/2004 7:35:33 AM | Basically, men look for someone rather akin to their mothers. It may be odd, but that's how it really is. I know a whole lot of men who actually refer to their wives as "Mom."
I think what it is, though, is that men are just bigger boys, and mom was always a source of comfort. | |

A woman who is..
Cute
A little shy
Friendly but not a big flirt
Kind to others
More giving than taking
Deeply passionate about something
Generally happy - loves to smile and laugh
Not extremely picky about who she sees or goes out with *haha*
Not going to over-analyze everything or blow everything out of proportion
Not going to be talking about some hot or cute guy she met or knows from work all the time
Not going to be telling me stories about her 'ex' all the time
Not going to tell me that she's had a lot of sex
Not going to tell me that she ''just loves going 2 da club!''
Not afraid to get a little dirty or naughty once in awhile *You know what I'm talking about*
Open to new ideas or experimentation in bed, these include oils and toys
Ready to settle down and not run all over town with her friends constantly
Isn't real big into rap or hip-hop music *It's a turn-off after awhile*
Loves family life and children
and most importantly,
Loves me unconditionally
These are not heavy expectations though, they're simply guidelines that I try to stick to. And if she can nail about 5 or 6 of these then I think we're off to a pretty good start. | |

Posted: 12/31/2004 8:29:16 AM | I have to agree with vinny13 on this one. Being 'full of life' is especially important as I hear too much negatism from people everyday complaing about this or that.
I also find self-confidence, fun to be with and a happy disposition to be extremely attractive as well.

I always went out of my way NOT to date a woman like my mom.Don't get me wrong I loved my mom,just wouldn't want a wife or g/f like her.She was a great woman but steeped in the old ways which are a slow death to me. | |

So I have to ask myself, what would make me happy? The obvious one is that I have to be attracted to her (both looks and personality) but the less obvious one - though the more important one - is that I would need to feel that she is happy being with me too. | |
