> Peek-a-boo bunched up boxers above your waistband
> Panama or Hawaiian shirt
> Cowboy hat
> Cutoffs
> Shorts shorter than about an inch above the knees
> Tee shirt with the sleeves cut off
> Shower slippers
> Clothes that are dirty or in disrepair
> Tidy whities
> Parachute or Painter's pants
> Grizzly Adams beard
> Comb over or toupe
> Sweats
> Wing tip or saddle shoes
> White tube sox
> Big belt buckle
> Pinky ring
> Belly shirt
> Wide tie
> Tinted glasses (I don't mean sunglasses)
> Wife beater as outerwear
> Pants that show your butt crack like a refrigerator repairman
> Coveralls
> Colored dress shirts with white collars
> 3-piece suits
If a man shows up for a first date wearing any of these things, I'm out.

i wear one for reasons that are my own
am i missing something?
(i've never been to good with people and their speculations)... really...maybe the pinky ring has been the 'great barrier' all along.
i also wear my fathers wedding band on my right ring finger...

OT: Spandex, Latex...basically anything clothing that ends in ex....oh yea...and since I live in Cali where beaches are doable all year round and within driving distance, speedo's are a no no too!...just my opinion! | |

i was JUST about to re-ask the question.
well...ok...
the pinky ring is for a very dear friend that i may never see again.(and also i tend to think of it as the 'string around my finger' to remind me of others whos memories should be cherished and honoured.
i came by the ring at a time when it was needed and its the only finger it'll fit on.
As for my fathers wedding band...my mum gave it too me not too long ago as she's terminally ill and now knows i have it...(we argued about her giving it to me for a bit as its been on her hand since i was but a wee lad... but she really seemed worried that i would recieve it 'in time' and now she does know i have it).
So, i suppose i'll have to live the repercussions of these 'signals' and hope to perhaps bump into an attractive lass that doesn't judge the book by its cover.
(odd aside note here: i have a freckle on my right ear lobe and apparrently it looks pierced...so i tend to have to explain my sexual orientation to quite a few 'homophobics')

A-"NOPE!!!...but good luck with that...im sure if you keep asking around you'll eventually meet the 'right guy!"
