I think she breaks it down and tells it like it is....not working around the topic. The audience wants to know everything about the case and not learn about stuff authorities are trying to hide--the only way to get a response from someone is to jump down there throat to get the truth. She's very straightforward and gets to the bottom line.

Anyway, I decided to Google the name instead but all I got was alot of fluff pieces for the most part. I still don't actually know anything about her really. Until I see her show or something I can't decide. In the meantime OP, stop yelling.

Posted: 12/16/2005 6:11:49 PM | I think she comes off very strong, but she has had a long successful career as an attorney and prosecuter, so needs to be. She's very smart and not to bad looking. I don't mind watching her show in the few rare times I watch TV. I just read this week that she had to get a protection order against a guy who claimed he was in love with her and was coming to the studio to see her and told when he was coming. He showed up at the given time and was arrested. The lesson being, of course, that if you are going to stalk someone...don't leave a time schedule.

Posted: 12/16/2005 7:11:24 PM | Please read the following interview that Nancy Grace did with a defendant in a very public case, probably better known in Detroit where a 21 year old drunk driver killed an on duty police officer and seriously injured the man in the back of the car, who was already arrested for drinking and driving. The original charges from Oakland County were "Second Degree murder" and the jury found him guilty of "Driving Under the Influence" a maximum 93 day jail sentence in the state of Michigan. Interview based on facts from the case.

| HOW DO YOU GUYS FEEL ABOUT NANCY GRACE..DO SHE COME OFF TO STRONG? Posted: 12/16/2005 11:25:29 PM | The full title is Objection! and reads on the cover "How High-Priced Defense Attorneys, Celebrity Defendants and 24/7 Media have Highjacked our Criminal System"
The book came out in June 2005 at goes into a lot of detail about Scott Petersen, Kobe Bryan, Michael Jackson, Robert Blake, the Menendez brothers and of course gool ole OJ. When the Michael Jackon jury came back, Nancy Grace kept saying "I will eat crow if all counts against Mr. Jackson come back as a not guilty. Of course, the jury could not proce beyond reasonable doubt that there was a crime committed and Nancy Grace would throw in comments after the jury reading like "okay, Im going to go home and get my recipes for the crow pie".
Sure everyone has heard of these "celebrities" but she also talks in detail about her days as a prosecutor of cases that happened in Atlanta (won and lost) that would REALLY make anyone think that there is justice in the American criminal system.
After reading her book and having a lot of the same feelings she does, I can clearly see why she appears so "animated" and comes off as a "****". I'd probably be a **** too if someone killed my fiancee in cold blood too for 40 bucks.
She also talks about the possibility of losing her job as a DA when her boss retires and does not even consider doing criminal defense work (I AM SO GLAD IM not the only who feels that way). She wound up coming to New York with two suitcases of clothes and a curling iron to "host a show" .
Yes, she comes off very strong. But it's legal professionals like Ms Grace who make me like to think that there is still some justice in America for the people who are victims of sick, twisted criminals.
What kind of grade will I get for this "book report"?? LOL

And how she asks the relatives of the victims inappropriate questions. The worse is when she drops her head, takes a deep breath and gets dramatic. Ever catch how husbands are always to blame? Tho when her fiancee was murdered, it broke my heart. Thank you, "Friend"......LOL Kasey
