Grief with UPS deliveries on the coast

Seems that UPS has a major problem getting their packages delivered along the coast this season. What's their problem?

I fought with them about a delivery for two weeks and finally had to go pick it up myself.

But my coworkers tell me I'm lucky I got it at all, as half the stuff they ordered got put on the "lost truck" and they can't figure out if its a truck full of lost packages or the truck itself is lost!

Other packages are supposedly delivered but aren't - one person was told it got "put on the steps at the back door" when it was addressed to the bank where she works...which has no steps at the back door.

I told my family not to send me anything via UPS for now. What happened - did all their good employees leave due to storm damage and they had to hire whoever they could scrounge? Makes me afraid to order anything on line until they get their act together.

Anybody out there work for UPS? Maybe you know what the matter is?

Should've used the Postal Service...Try renting a PO Box at your local post office. It's the safest way to get your mail/pkgs.

About your UPS pkgs...try finding out from your mailer what the pkg ID is on the pkg that is lost. Then go online to UPS and track it.

This is why I always go with Fed Ex. In the two years I worked at collectable's store, we never had a single problem from Fed Ex. Computers, Discs, Figures, Mugs, Cards, anything of the such always arived. Maybe that's just me, but yeah.

Any how, as for what their problem is, no clue. I just know that Fed Ex has been reliable for me. ^_^
