Put in a crabby disposition, mean comments and negative statements, get out the same...
Put in hope, love, intelligence and ya just might find someone in here who relates to you...it has happened more times than I expected in the few months I have been here...not to me, yet...(maybe)...but I am hopeful... | |

I did use the site to get through my wild serial dating days last year, met a lot of men from the site (my calendar was always full for like a 3-4 month period last spring), went to a lot of member organized functions in the first 5-6 months I was there, and met my best friend, my partner over there. I killed my AFF profile over there on the one year anniversary date of my joining, the drama and bullsh*t just got to be too much over there. I guess I did get a bit overly involved, and my partner did warn me about that a year ago .. should have listened to him (!!!). YES people do hook up over there (I sure did) but many of the women up there have a lot of self esteem issues or are jealous of others who take the attention away from themselves. Most of the women I got to know socially up there were either extremely needy or extremely promiscuous, which isn't always a bad thing, but ... nevertheless, with a very few exceptions, there really wasn't much quality up there with either the men or the women. And by quality I mean .. even any type of enduring friendship with most of the maladjusted souls up there was tough, let alone establishing any type of friends with benefits arrangement. I certainly didn't go to AFF looking for a partner, but things just turned out that way for us, and he is like one of the nicest, caringest, most gentlemanly male that I have ever met .. | |

I never sought out anyone, they always found me, starting with a wink or an email or a comment in the chat room to me, then we'd usually go to Yahoo IM, eventually exchange phone numbers then agree to meet in a public place .. then depending on the attraction and chemistry .. well, you can figure out the rest ..  | |

She sent me a reply encouraging me to visit something called coeddreams.com/schreck. I took a look and I can't tell if this is supposed to be a sugar-daddy site or a T&A site. Anyway, I got immediately suspicious when I saw a link in the email and when the homepage prompts you to get one of those "free" (I'll bet) age-verification accounts in order to become a member of her site. I'm wondering if the warnings I'm getting about Adult Friend Finder being swamped by the website professional girls might apply to some of the POF membership. :(

I'm on matchdoctor and adultmatchdoctor.
The only messages I've ever gotton on AMD were spam.
MD has been almost all spam. Currently speaking with 1 person, but have yet to determine if they are legitimate yet or not as she is out-of-country.
But its free, and its fairly easy to tell the spammers from the non-spammers apart.
So signing up for MD won't kill ya. If you get no legit mails, just close the account. Won't cost a dime. I never give out my email address until I am comfortable enough with the person. I usually give out one of my crap hotmail address first so that if they do turn out to be a spammer, it won't matter cuz that account gets spammed to death already. lol | |
