| Love is a many splintered thing. Posted: 1/5/2006 9:01:33 PM | Love, much like an unvarnished wooden toilet seat, is a many splintered thing. Sometimes those splinters get under your skin. Then, you have to dig them out. But, youcan't always get them out.
The other day I invited this girl to a party. We had spoken before and arrived at the mutual conclusion that we were pretty hot for each other. The day of the party comes and guess who brought a date.........that she flaunted at me.
Anyone have similar stories to make me feel like less of a fool?
Anyone?

Apathy in society is letting people like this win. Therapists are trained to give out excuses and pills. There is no hope, but for a baseball bat. DESTROY!!!!!

Doesn't matter, if she had class she wouldn't have done that no matter how he worded it.
OP, there's a silver lining. You learned she had no class before you got the tiniest bit involved with her. That's not very comforting, but take what you can from it.
