| | what is it that u find in peoples profile pictures that turn u off right away?Page 1 of 15 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15) | For example, there is now a guy on here who i met a few times the past few weeks, after talking for close to a year. The reason why i was talking to him so long and never pushed to meet him.......cause in his pics he looked TOO good looking and it had pics of his cars etc, so i put him off the the side as a "egotistical guy".
What do u find are things that turn u of right away from a persons profile pic? I found that i dont even read the profiles...if for some reason the picture makes me stereo type them into certain classifications...like in the above case "the guy who is too good looking for me, he must be after sex" lol I have finally met him and realize now that he is no such way, and he doesn't even like high maintanance chicks lol | |

I don't want to be shallow either, but if "I'm turned off" -- then I have to go with that.
He might be a nice guy (for someone else). For example, if he has a whole wrecking yard of antique cars and he loves that hobby, I know that doesn't make him a bad guy, but I sure don't want that s..t in my backyard -- he doesn't need my opinion thrown in his face though so why bother him with it.
Some people have no idea how beautiful they are in your eyes though --

- topless pics, showing man boobies, arms flexed.... If I'm interested, I'll see ya topless soon enough. I like my men clothed, more for the imagination to work with...
- pics of guys, holding their cameras to the mirror (usually topless....LOL), come on guys, I dont care how lonely you are, SURELY you must have SOME pics of yourself without resorting to the poorly lit self portraits in the bathroom mirror or hallway mirror.... that just screams desperation to me. Even hermits can have someone take their pics for them.
- pics of your toys... I dont care about your car/truck/quad/bike/guitar, etc... Material things dont impress me, I'm more interested in the person then the toys....
- party pics.... So what, a pic of you at a table with a half dozen beer and 12 shooters and a smoke hanging out of your yap is supposed to impress me??? quite the opposite actually... I see these pics and think, grow the fuk up.... I smoke and drink too, dont need to post pics of me proving I can do it.... LOL
I'm sure there's more.... stereotyping?? yeah, probably, but the written word tells a lot too (in the profile).... | |

Pics where obviously there was a woman hanging off their arm, and they either cut her out or doctored it up so you cant see her.... WTF, do you not have any other pics of yourself? if theres a chick in there, leave her in, dont chop her out, I mean, lots of us have been with others before and lots of us have solo pics too, no need to do a hatchet job on the pic, to me, it seems disrespectful. Kinda goes along with the self portrait in the mirror thing.... | |

I dont have any of my pics here, for privacy (I know too many people who might stumble on them), however I do have a couple I send when I'm messaging with someone.... I just honestly dont see the reason to show skin right off the bat... I save those pics for when I message someone...   | |
