 PoF Valentine's at Fever's Nite Club - The Variety of Hearts Fundraiser
When: Saturday, February 11thWhere: Fever Night Club, 32 Church Street, New West - just off of columbia (skytrain is right behind it) Time: 8pm until closingCover: $5 - our cover will go directly to The Variety of HeartsThe set up will be similair as the last: our own room (lounge style), our own Bartender, munchies. But with a couple of changes: Valentine "Mistle Toe" hanging above, 2 Pof "Valentine's" Special drink for the evening, and introduction / mingling GAMES! ...and yes, maybe we'll even get around to playing The Beads ... thanks to FreckesJo for getting that together! We will be having a Halfers Draw as well - half of it going to The Variety of Hearts. And yes, there will be name tags for those interested in wearing them! We've got 2 drinks that Cwolfy has set up as Special's just for PoFers in our PRIVATE ROOM.1. a fireball shooter called: Cinnamon Heart $3.75 ..... 2. a Cranberry/vodka mixture called: Love Potion $4.25 If you have suggestions for some games: please PM me or Cwolfy with details: looking for something thats FUN, EASY to play, great for "BREAKING THE ICE" and that can include anyone thats wants to participate! If you can help in with decorating: please PM me... I'll probably need about 4 -5 ppl like last time. Those that will be DDs for that evening will have to PM Cwolfy or myself that day and we will give you the information for that evening. We have our fabulous Sammie taking pictures... we are only allowed 1 and they must stay in our room.... no camera's otherwise. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... just a note: whatever games are submitted, the 3 most popular will be chosen to be played. So, please dont be disappointed if "yours" isnt chosen! There are MANY and not all can be done! It would be good to have 1 that can be played on its own (without much intervention) for the duration of the night (like a Valentine's note-thingie) and 2 good mingling ones thru out the night.

to Missy: are you going to host another sushi dinner at Top Gun prior to this event like you did before the Christmas party. Great food and a chance for some newbies to meet a few regulars before heading to the actual event. You did a great job last time. | |

And as for the ones that are scared to attend. It's just like friggin attending any bar, only difference is you may know some people already or at least recognize them from their pics...Way better than a bar full of TOTAL strangers! | |
