| Why do women ask a guy how many women he has been with? Posted: 1/11/2006 4:11:49 PM | Why do women ask a guy how many women he has been with? Why would they want to know this? I have a close friend who was asked this by his g/f and when he told her it was none of her business and that it doesn't matter she got all upset. What good can come out of asking this question? My answer-NONE!!!!! All it will do is start an argument whether you have been with 1 or 101, there is no correct answer in my opinion.
Anybody else have anything to add to this? Your experiences?
This goes the other way too-guys asking girls.

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 4:14:08 PM | When I asked men in my life that question, the one time I got a NYOB, I was pissed.
I mean, whats the hairy huge deal?!?!
I want to know all there is to know about my man...be it good or bad. I also want him to know all there is about me as well.
Who/what they did makes them who they are today...PLUS nothing beats hearing how LOUSY she was in bed!!!

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 4:15:15 PM | | Well tell her the truth,I have been asked many times that same question,I don't ever remember having to explain why, never started any arguements,it's in the past. | |
|
| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 4:19:21 PM | it does not matter to me at all, as long as i am her number 1! she could tell me that she has been with 100 guys, doesn't matter! | |

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 4:23:54 PM | I've always thought of it as a hygene question. But it could be she is comparing experience levels between you. It has come up about wether she is "experienced enough for me". Never understood that one!
As for wanting to know everything about each other, I'd advise caution on this one. Its a potential minefield.

A hygiene question?? gimme a break!!
Never ever have I compared "experience levels". I am with him because I love him, not because I am more experienced or because he is....
A potential minefield...never been one for me...never had a fight rise out of what happened in the past sexual lives of my partners. How juvenile would that be to get jealous of someone who he slept with before we even met?!?!
IMO of course | |

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 4:52:03 PM | Ok but really, WHY do men ask how many men a woman have slept with? hmmm?
I'm a virgin everytime | |
|
| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 4:54:10 PM | | I will never tell! I didn't even tell my wife, it's no one's business what I did before I was with them. The only thing that matters is when in a relationship, I am only with one person. | |

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 5:01:11 PM | I don't think men or women should ask how many people they have slept with,it's there past and has nothing to do with the person they are dating, unless you think they are players and having sex with others,I would tell the person i'm seeing it's in the past, leave it there, move on!! | |

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 5:06:03 PM | ive been asked that question and i ve also asked it.....the reasoning behind it is if they have been with a lot of different parteners the issue of aids and std comes into play..id like to know if the person im sleeping with has been tested....i really dont want to die over having sex...i have a daughter i have to think about..and i like my life too much to not know who im sleeping with and what his past was..its nothing to get angry about ..fact is fact ...if your both mature enough to sleep together you should be mature enough to discuss this issue....just my thoughts...
cheers
and play safe!!

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 5:09:05 PM | the more women the more experienced too...
if more then the higher risk for STD's, boo...
for those who live in a shoe...
boo to them too. | |

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 5:28:35 PM | | I don't usually ask this question. I'm not interested in the answer. The guy could have been a total player, but as long as he is disease-free (and not sleeping with other people while he is sleeping with me), I am okay with that. | |
|
| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 5:43:55 PM | | For whatever reason I've never really considered asking that question... though I might have wondered. I like to leave a lot of things up to my imagination... sometimes pretending I'm the first (hah!) and sometimes that I'm not even the first (or last) of the day... knowing the truth would just get in the way and doesn't really tell me anything about who she is at that moment... it's just trivia. | |

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 5:45:04 PM | Well from my point of view of have not asked the question, but then the question was asked of me. I had no problem saying how many. But then since he opened the door I asked him and he did not want to tell. I really did not care either way. You really should not have to ask that question if you are really paying close attentention to this person, you should be able to tell if they were with a lot of people or not. | |

| Why do women ask this question? Posted: 1/11/2006 6:01:50 PM | I don't see the purpose of asking. Who cares? They are with you, and that is all that counts. It only takes one time to get a std.
I have never been asked that question. And if I were, than I would think he spent way too much time on stupid issues and that perhaps he needed a hobby other than trying to decipher my past.
