| Why dont women like long haired guys.....or are there any??

I'm still single, but my hair is not the reason gals are not as interested as they could be - there are lots of ladies who love the hair... Trust me on that.. Ask around - ask anyone you know, female that is, what they think about you going "short". I know if I try that, I'll be mobbed by everyone byt my parents.. Parents wil be happy, everyone else will either slap me, beat me, or never talk to me again. LMAO (jj about the never talking)
I also don't often get judged as a bum, or a criminal. Hippie maybe.. Just means that when they get to know me, I impres them all that much more.. LOL
It could have somethnig to do with the tat and the wife beater look (the shirt).. That is kind of 80's rocker looking, and they symbolized the ultimate in "bad-ass" kind of attitude...

and I for one agree that it depends on the guy...some look good with long hair and some don't same as shaved heads..some do, some don't...to each person their own..right!!
But do not judge them to be a criminal or bum...just because of their hair...thats not how you size up a person...its what is on the inside that counts...even though physical attraction is a part of it.

Posted: 1/12/2006 12:30:44 PM | I had long hair for about 13 years, and to my knowledge it didn't stunt my dating experiences. I didn't cut it for women, I didn't cut it for my career, I cut it because it frequently looked messy and at the risk of sounding like a shampoo commercial, "unmanagable".
As for men with long hair looking like criminals, apparently with short hair I still look the part, but thankfully that gets tossed as soon as I talk (I've been told this *many* times).
Looking like a "bum"? I'll share a true story: I was a counselling student in school, doing my major placement at a homeless shelter. I went in for interviews at the shelter in May, to ensure I had an excellent placement for September. I was accepted, but didn't have any contact with the agency until I returned to start my placement months later. I ran into all three of the counsellors who had grilled me months before, and two out of three of them mistook me for a client - a homeless person. I wasn't insulted, I thought it was really funny, but there wasn't a day of my placement that I didn't wear my "student" I.D. badge. | |

Posted: 1/12/2006 2:26:48 PM | | When in High School I was one of the few guys with short hair in my "crowd". I kept it short for some time after High School (a Army thing). A little later I grew it much longer. Down to around my shoulder blades. I thought it looking pretty good. A pain in the butt to look after but looked good. There came a day when I'd had enough and had it all cut off. For the next week atleast, got asked out once a day. Ladies these days prefer short hair. | |

Posted: 1/12/2006 3:21:46 PM | Had long hair about 12 years ago (see profile) and miss it some days. Then, like the Diet Pepsi commercial, I snap out of it and come back to reality.
Based on immediate reaction after it was cropped short, women prefer shorter hair. | |
