| Are you looking or wanting to be found? Posted: 1/18/2006 7:57:02 PM | Ive noticed after reading 1,000's of profiles that some people are describing who they wish to find and others seem to be focused on telling people about themselves which seems like they are looking to be found.
I actually tend to think of the various "Type of relationship" choices people choose as...
I am for sale I am looking to buy I am looking to lease with an option to purchase... I am looking to rent I am looking for a test drive I am a display product....
Which one are you?
After reviewing my own, I think I am 'Looking to be leased with an option to be purchased..
Anyway, the Intimate relationship choice and such just remind me of renting and not buying...

| Are you looking or wanting to be found? Posted: 1/18/2006 8:16:21 PM | Ive been thinking about this for quite sometime. So many profiles list all the options that come with the purchase and others spew out the demands and so forth.
On the contact restrictions at the bottom of everyone's profile, they denote that renters/test drivers and such no to need apply...
Some are looking for for trade ins and others want a brand new shiny one with all the bells and whistles.... | |

| Are you looking or wanting to be found? Posted: 1/18/2006 8:25:44 PM | | Love this question! LOL made me go back and read my profile....... I think I am looking to rent, but window shopping until then. I don't want anything serious but I'm not just looking to hook up for the night. With the rent option, its not a permanent thing but you could stay if you are happy..........or is that the lease with the option to buy?! | |

| Are you looking or wanting to be found? Posted: 1/18/2006 9:23:21 PM | | I'd say I'm browsing the lot, looking for the slightly dented model with semi-decent mileage, and working parts. Open to leasing with the option to purchase provided the engine doesn't need completely overhauled and the interior is still in good condition. | |

| Are you looking or wanting to be found? Posted: 1/22/2006 5:39:47 AM | I am looking for that shiney new, low profile, sleek chasis, with awesome wheels, and a high performance engine. With an extended warranty, I don't want any breakdowns. I would lease, with the option to buy. | |

| Are you looking or wanting to be found? Posted: 1/22/2006 9:12:24 AM | | I think I am one of those "looking to be found" types. If found and the lease was right and there was an option to purchase, maybe I might have to look into it further and read all the fine print. Until then, I'm just window shopping. How's that for playing both sides against the middle????? LOL | |

| Are you looking or wanting to be found? Posted: 1/22/2006 10:50:25 AM | I was talking to a POF member the other day about the profiles. He was telling me how "boring" many of the female profiles were. When I asked for specifics, it sounded like he was reading my profile. He said mine was different, (I think because I replied to his profile sarcastically). I said that putting a profile out to thousands of people is like putting out resumes. There's one position but personnel has 500 resumes. The field has to be narrowed down to ensure only those people with the closest qualifications are considered. Personally, I rule out anyone who smokes, does drugs, is shorter than me or can't spell. Spelling and proper use of grammer is important to me, therefore, I skip profiles with bad spelling or grammar. There are some guys out there who have really funny pictures or whose profiles beg to be assaulted in a humourous, sarcastic way. I have so much fun writing back and forth with these guys. I'm not looking for perfection, so I hope I don't hurt someone's feelings, but finding a match, really is a lot like looking for a job. You've got to grab their attention and hold it until the final round. | |
