I heard someone say this and believe it to be true.
I think love is like dinner....each plate tastes a little different...but fulfills what you need at that particular time. People grow and what they are looking for changes. As a matter of fact, by the time you are enjoying a new one...sometimes you even forget why the other ones had any significance. | |

Thank god it does not.
I think I have been in love at least three times in my life and I plan on it to happen again, real soon!

The relationships that we have through our lives...we know inside our souls when the "real" one enters and the "real" one leaves. But that doesn't/shouldn't diminish the other relationships that we allow to occur...they all bring something into our lives that otherwise we would have never experienced. I agree with this, as we grow our wants and needs change, so having someone fulfill the wants and needs also changes

In other cases, you are in love, but your significant other isn't, but you move on... When you can find somebody to compliment your lifestyle, without trying to complicait it, you have found a good match, but again, life isn't perfect, as I hope we all know this. Take life day by day, and just adjust to life and relationships as you have to. We are all looking for a good relationship, so don't play somebody, unless you like to get played.. | |

yeah.. that works out splendidly.. when the other person is the only one thats truely happy.. but congrats.. you've done a job well done.. someones super happy because of you.. hope you didn't dish any of those needs and wants of ur own to satisfy anothers.
If our needs and wants dont mesh.. its just time to move... no matter how great a person he/she could be.. its not enough.
we have to demand what we want from people.. and holy hell.. I hope they continue to demand it from me.

I think perhaps that some people feel so badly burned the first time around that they refuse to let themselves fall in love again. Maybe a reasonable facsimile, but to be truly in love involves surrendering to it. Many people are afraid to be that vulnerable again. | |

I really hope not. Some must go through misfortunes in relationships in order to know what they want or need in a meaningful relationship. I been in love, deeply in love, and by that I been hurt by that love and that hurt cutts very deep. So, with the lessons I've learned along the way, I know now how to treat a woman like a woman and take care of my responsibilities in that unit.
OP, let's hope love finds it's way back to a broken heart again..
