| Will Fuel Cells Make Iceland the 'Kuwait of the North?' Posted: 1/25/2006 6:44:33 PM | http://www.worldpress.org/Europe/436.cfm
Basically describing how Iceland is developing hydrogen technology, and producing the hydrogen by using geothermal energy to generate the electical power to do so, thereby becoming the first Nation to sever its dependance on fossil fuels, and sees itself as becoming a major exporter of hydrogen to the rest of the world as a result.
And as they point out, doing this on a small scale , in their small society, allows for adjustments to be made before putting it into large scale operation.
I wonder how long it will be before the Oil companies begin pressing Washigton for embargoes on them..or Bush declares they are secretly manufacturing Weapons of mass destruction?
Which they are doing, indirectly, if they convert other countries to their non-polutive technology...LOL!
Hmmm..the only 'waste' product is water? I wonder how long it will be before someone decides that water vapour is responsible for global climate change by predicting increased rain fall and subsequent cooling?
