I am just curious if you just finished having your heart broken and had the opportunity to talk to Oprah or Dr. Phil on national television would you?

Yes I would. Just so I could say his name on t.v. and warn others about him....he broke my heart and then bragged that it made him very popular with other women as he had been seen with a good looking woman whom he was engaged to. Said it made the women want him more>!!! I guess I have taken the high road, but I still feel a teensy bit vindictive. I should be over it by next week.

I definately would for the world could know what type of person she is after the mask she wears comes off. Then she could do to no one else what she did to me.

Personally I would rather talk to Dr. Bombay from Betwitched before I would ever talk to Dr. Phil...can't stand the man.

And would I ever go on National TV to air my dirty laundry, bash on an Ex or talk about my private life? Nope, would never happen.

What the hell would Dr. Phil say, other than something completely obvious and useless.

If it were not for insecure, fat women who feel inadequate there would be no Dr. Phil.

Does your doctor go by "Dr. First Name"? That should be your first hint he is a quack.

you are 42 years old ,get over it and on with your life. You are not a teenager with all the drama that comes with the teen years. If it`s over it`s over,i wouldn`t waste my time on him anymore.

I still feel it somewhere down there in my heart it is still there ,anymore it is the betrayl
that I feel the most wherein I grasp for some kinda understanding and resolution but none lies there. When I awake and open my eyes in the morning and have a few minutes break in my day it grabs ahold of me sometimes.I know that somewhere out there someone better and real awaits this hope I let fill my heart to push aside what hurts.

@ feduopwbs re. MSG 6 that is totally understandable what you are feeling, it is so soon after the breakup and the wounds are still fresh. It's that mixture of deep sadness with anger and hate and dissapointment that makes us think silly things.

It's sort of like those moments on the show 6 Feet Under where one of the characters would do something completely crazy like scream out and tell a person to STFU when they were babbling on endlessly, but then they would cut back to the exact scene where you would realize they had just actually imagined the whole thing and that is what they WOULD have done if they could act out what they were feeling.

Well in these instances it's probably best to wait until all the emotions pass since we tend to wanna do things that are really out of character for us simply because we are acting out of mixed emotions.

I think I'd rather go on Jerry Springer. Ex bashing just ain't the same without the chair tossing and exposed breasts.

I would do it, sure. How else would I ever get the chance to score Oprah's digits?

Hey Lilblond, you crack me up!

Personally I would rather talk to Dr. Bombay from Betwitched before I would ever talk to Dr. Phil

And she's right. I would not air my dirty laundry either, that's what Jerry Springer is for ;) Kidding, just kidding...

Dr 'first name' has never sat well with me either. *Blink!* The man is simply not genuine. If you have to think about it - he pre-briefs every person that goes on his show and he only EXPLOITS the obvious. Why does anyone think he is genuine? Is it his smile or sex appeal that wins women over? What is it?

Hey Algernon - watch the hate. Don't need that here.

Cheers,
bcrunner

There's this little part of me that screams "HECK YESS!!"

Then the teenage wench would know he'd actually been 'cheating' on her (as she was apparently under the impression that his marriage was over, even though he still lived with me.... dumb blonde...) with ME. While i was under the impression that i had a solid marriage. And what then? He would actually be found out, and finally suffer some sort of consequence for his horrid behaviour.

But,... mostly i just want to forget about it all. He was awful to me, and i'm the one suffering from his stupidity, and irrational choices (along with our son *sigh*).

No I wouldn't. I'd hope that I've reached a level of maturity that does not involve
20 million people.

Dr Phil: He's popular because he peddles easy answers to people who are unable
to solve issues that demand common-sense solutions. The easy answers: IE: If your children are stealing from you, buy yourself a safe. the audience gasps: WOW, I never would have thought that!

I am sure some of the people who have duped or taken advantage of by people who use these types of sites and or services would be more apt to let it all out on TV. Personally, no, Id rather reach out to my social or support circle....they tend to kick me in the a** and that is generally what I would need.
