Try to stay away form the megabrewery stuff: Molson's, Labatts, Bud, Miller, ... And the worst has to be McEwans Scotch Ale.

| Re: Ok so what is your Fav Beer. Posted: 4/3/2004 8:10:10 PM | Some English beers? Newcastle, Old Speckled Hen, Boddington (from the cans), Bass Pale Ale. They were all nice beers. I'm not sure where in the UK these are from: Smithwicks, Tennant. We seem to have quite a few UK ex-patriots around Edmonton either playing football (soccer) or rugby. So, a pretty fair selection of import.
There used to be a little pub on Forbes Avenue in Pittsburgh, near Pitt, that had these HUGE orders of fries (chips). They had 300 different kinds of beer. It was great to go there on a Friday and have an order of fries, and sample a couple of different beers.

Usually while we're down there we find 'beer sales' cases of beer for $3, thats freakin' crazy, just got back from Whistler where 3 drink round cost over $20. | |
