If you truly are in love with someone- then you would only have eyes for them- there are lots of other feelings that you can have but it's not love. Posted: 1/29/2006 6:41:05 PM | People spout these myths about love as if they were truth: soulmates, one and only love, etc. No wonder there are so many failed relationships and bad decisions. Yes, you can love more than one person at a time, but each love is going to be a bit different.
Think about it: can you love more than one child if you have several? Do you love only one of your parents? This isn't so different, really, but society conditions us to accept one way of doing things, and only that way - everything else is considered wrong, but is not necessarily wrong. | |
