Does anyone else still remember the date and time of their last breakup? Even though I have gotten over it, I still remember it was 5:03 Pm on May 12, 2005 as she was finished loading her stuff on her nephew's truck and they headed up the driveway.

I wonder what I will be doing at that time this May. Hopefully remembering the date and time I first saw my new partner. LOL

Funny what sticks in your mind.

Yeah, I still remember ALL of my breakups. To the day and time. I also remember the date and time my ex husband fell and got tragically hurt at work. That date has became a "Party" date for me!
They say you remember the bad times more than you can remember the good times..............

To be completeley honest, mythquester, this particular thread you've started won't win you many female admirers.

Think about it.

The only thing worse than remembering when your last break up was is predicting when the next will be. Gets easy to narrow it down and follow the signs. If you are caught off guard I ask you this: how is life living in denial?

I have dumped, and been dumped, and I can honestly say that I barely remember why we broke-up, let alone the date and time.

I think this would demonstrate a little unhealthy attachment.

I think, if you're going to break up with someone, just have the kindness not to do it on a holiday LOL Thanksgiving is both a thankful and a nostalgic time for me now... :P

I don't remember the date...I know that it was the month of May, and I was 19 yrs old...I was devastated. That was my first break up...

I'll never forget the exact moment my life changed. January 26, 2006 8:34pm. After six years, when it all ends in one phone call, you tend not to forget.
