What is it that makes a woman not attracted to a guy that is shorter or the same height as them...Being 5'2 myself i would just like some insight on what women feel about dating guys who are short...

Well, I love men in general, but not being very tall myself, as long as a guy isn't as wide as he is tall, I prefer a short man.

Though, oddly, my last two BF were tall.

I like a man under 5' 11".

It don't stop me from oggling gorgeous men of all heights, and, aestheticallly speaking, tall men tend to have a more proportioned look about them.

Especially when I've been pretty heavy, the taller/beefier the guy is, the smaller I feel-but that's my own insecurity talking.

When it comes to those long all night kisses on the doorstep, I'd rather not be breaking my neck backwards to kiss a tall guy, and I'm sure he doesn't consider squatting a great alternative.

Jeannie-likes 'em in every size.

Personally, I like a guy that is taller than myself. I am 5'9" and I usually tower over people anyways. However, that doesn't mean that I wouldn't date a guy the same height or shorter than myself. Height and appearance are what catch my attention, but it all comes down to his personality and chemistry.

Because tall guys are 'man sized'. We can get shoes of the top shelf when shopping. We can hold an umbrella for two without whacking her head. We can get blow jobs and the woman can be standing up. So many wonderful things about being tall.

But Whoville, when I can't reach the top shelf, I have stools, tall girlfriends and there's always the tried and true method of not having high shelves to begin with. I live in Sunny AZ where we have just had 106 days without rain and when it does rain, I stand out in the middle of it and lift my face to the sky. And there is something I just love about squatting low around a man's legs and .. afterward, slowly rising up to kiss him from his belly on up to his throat. Then he can look me in the eye when he lifts my leg up around his waist and he enters. So I don't need tall. ;) I can use it. I just don't need it.

I said when shopping; the height of their shelves is out of your control

And besides, you're a little shorty too, so you have to defend your kind of Randy Newman may kill you in your sleep.

Besides, I shop online, I hate stores in general and it's so much more fun to throw something at the top shelf to knock all the crap to the floor-as opposed to playing helpess female.

And I jump high.

It depends..sometimes it is worth it to have someone else reach to the top shelf..I have had plenty of things fall on my head as I reached for them..occupational hazard..There is certainly something to be said for lifting your face to the sky in the rain..and jumping high..Jeannie your going to make some guy really happy and really smart. ;)

I have to admit that I'm a sucker for the tall guys, but I also find something really cute about short guys. I'm 5'2" and I don't think I'd date someone shorter than myself (not that I could ever FIND someone shorter than me lol) but my height or a little taller would be nice. It's just never happened.

I have learned that attraction comes in all packages. My ex was tall dark and handsome but did not have real sex appeal due to other factors of his personality...but those factors were not evident when the relationship was new...I have found you can't go by stereotypes...sometimes you have to give it a chance... me being 5'7" though, would prefer someone at least a few inches taller..

Hmm short guys, well here is the thing for me, I have tried dating men that were my height or a little taller.. I am only 5'5 so it doesn't take much. I found though I wasn't sexually attracted to them. I will say it is a little shallow because they were nice guys, but I just couldn't be interested in them sexually. I know that i have been turned down for similar reasons, wearing glasses, maybe a bit to big I don't know. To me sexual attraction is the key in a relationship, why date someone who doesn't make your belly go flop and your knees weak. The whole reason we date is to get to know someone and have sex! I hate to be blunt but it is true, if you are not sexually attracted to them, then they would just be a friend!

Well, a small pecker will look bigger on a short guy than it will on a tall guy due to height, length ratio.

I'm 5'9" and my ex was 5'7" I personally don't really care as long there in not too much of a height diff, but if I really clicked with that person I might give it a try. But I do have to be honest that I am physically attracted to taller guys and the shorter one I'm attracted to who they are and not physically.

Ive dated guys 6'4 and I have dated guys my height. But the most fun one, and special one in my heart - was 5'3 (if that) - I was always attracted to taller guys -but he and I clicked, and I was really happy that I had him in my life - taught me a lot. Its funny - you can say what you are attracted too, etc - but when you get older - those prerequisites get thrown out the window somehow!
Even when I wore my 6 1/2 inch platform boots and towered over him - neither of us minded (I think he liked it lol)

whoville, small peckers don't look good on any full grown man. In my experience, tall white guys are pretty small, and statistics back that up. ;)

Yes, I've seen a few tall white guys with small members. They had large hands and feet too. So much for that theory.....

I think the little guys get the 'short end of the stick' dating wise. The important thing is to be happy with who you are, be confident, and the right woman will come along, look down, and sweep you off of your feet.
