If I like a guy after our first phone conversation, I phone him the next night. I don't waste time thinking if I look desperate or not, I just go with what my heart tells me. And everytime, he has said he is so super happy I called....
My advice? just go with what feels right to you. If you start worrying about what is right and what isn't this early on then that isn't a good sign IMO. | |

Women have been taught to let the man be the aggressor, but it's also modern day and some men have learned to play like they are desperate, so they choose to hold off calling, making it harder on the women. I just say that if the person gives you there number, calling once a night shouldn't be a problem. If it is, they should specify ahead of time to not call on certain times. | |

"Gee, I really like this person but this call was just too soon, so I can't see them again.."

I know my friends have told me that they have given out their number and then never returned the calls. It is like they regretted giving it out. Has that ever happened to anyone? | |

What's more nerve wracking is when you give them your number but they don't give you theirs. They call once and say they will call again, but then don't follow-up on that. Waiting for that second call is hard. | |

When you ask for someones number, (and they give it), it is quite simple and courteous to ask when is a good time to call.
There you have it, a number and an agreement to call after, say, 7 pm. | |
