Posted: 2/7/2006 11:52:00 AM | I am trying this once more.......Why should we allow the Canadians to have all the fun with get togethers and great parties. I think it is time to have some fun here in the Denver area for all of us POF'ers......
I am more than willing to help plan something for those of us wanting to meet and get to know each other as a group and maybe throw in a Bike ride also. Let me know your feelings about doing this and who may want to help me plan and make it happen.
I can not believe that living in such a great single community like the Denver area, that we can not put some parties and POF activities together.
The thread is started, so now let's communicate and make it happen.......I know that many of you out there want this as much as I do..... Would be nice to meet many of you in person and see how we all fit as a group.....no matter our ages....

I would also like to get a few people together for Fat Tuesday...I know it's a week night, but we can start early. I'll be at Swankeys around 4 with my sister and a bunch of people that work down there getting everything started (and reserving a huge table)!!
Your idea sounds great! I know a few people that I think would be interested. And since I'm somewhat of a 'party planner', let me know if you need any help. The bike ride sounds great, and those without bikes could just meet us after (or follow in cars  )

You know the rules for POF get togethers......you want to ride here in the Denver area...you must find a way to get here and enjoy our wonderful location....the mountains.....weather.....people and riding......
I am sure that there are many "roomies" that would consider you to add to the list of those wanting to enjoy the parties here. See how many women many want you to join them and meet all of us for the activities.....smiles
I am thinking after Easter is a good time to find a local tavern that has its patio open and ready for the Harley riders to park and enjoy as well as those wanting to meet us and participate in whatever happens.
Ok all you "party goers"....let's make this happen.....

You have met me and my bike and should realize that I am an "inexperienced" rider, so don't make that ride out of my comfort level, cause I "wanna go" on the ride. Take me, take me!! My daughter, 26 years old, is now living with me, and I could probably talk her into meeting us at the location. She is a doll!!! It would be great to find some new friends! Count me in. | |

Posted: 5/14/2006 11:39:12 AM | Nothing official has happened yet to my knowledge. Some met in Colorado Springs and I hope that they had a good time.
I am thinking of meeting here in the Denver area at one of the Harley bars and then heading for maybe the "peak to peak" run to Estes Park and enjoy it there, then head back to the Harley bar during sunset.
What needs to happen, would be all who have bikes, to be willing to take riders, and all of us meet there, have a drink and head out. We can return to the bar and listen to music and those that drove to the bar will be back at the beginning.......hopefully not alone....smiles.
Just a suggestion......Now I hope some will help me make it happen.... | |
