| Whats the worst online date you ever had
Posted: 1/21/2005 2:20:43 PM | | Here`s a good one for you. I had my profile on one of the other sites but wasn`t actively looking for a date when a woman contacted me saying she was interested. We had exchanged pictures and all seemed to be going well for six months so we decided it was time to meet in person. She was working in winnipeg at the time but said she would have no problems with relocating. I had two weeks off for christmas (when I could have been visiting my daughter) so I jump in the truck and drive 1300 miles one way thru the northern ontario winter to see her. We met at the local coffee shop. We had a nice chat and made some plans for the next day, finished our coffee and that`s the last I ever heard from her. I think she took rude to a new level. | |

I'd met this guy at a party hosted by members from one of the other adult sites .. he seemed to be charming, and when he asked me out, he let me pick the restaturant, a nice one in Tacoma. I met him for the 2nd time since the party there, and I just don't know what I must have been thinking at the party I'd met him at, but he was WAY short (and I'm only 5'2"), and ill-dressed for the restaurant, and spewed one more incredulous story after another (he was, alternatively. a published author using a pseudonym, on a first name basis with a cast member of the original Star Trek series, a former Green Beret, and there was WAY more). I slipped into the bathroom and called my (now) partner and begged him to call me back in 5 mins and say he was my daughter in Everett and that she had car trouble and needed mom's help. Needless to say that was my cue to get the heck out of there as soon as that call came in ... !!! | |

don't what that was about she saw my picture before hand so beats me

I tried to explain the way it worked a little bit to get to prime minister, but she did not belived me and told me I was stupid... It did not went well.. I drove her back home and she invited me inside, I was polite about it and said No, she slamed the car door like a savage... She called me the day after! I told her that I was not interested and she, once again told me how much of an idiot I was...... Was very interesting!!!!!! | |

talking to a woman on another site for several months. "Great talks"
(whatever that means). Anyway, he FLEW (on a plane) from Southern
California to South Dakota to meet her. She NEVER showed up at the airport
to pick him up!! Hahaha...is that even more rude than yours?? I guess
they chatted later and it turns out she decided to get back with her ex.
Man....these people. I just go on these sites for the entertainment. It's
kinda like watching a train wreck.
Had to share that. Good luck. Keep it in perspective. Don't put too much
value on a total stranger. | |

Posted: 1/21/2005 10:07:15 PM | this didn't happen to me but a friend of mine who happens to be on lavalife...and i'm happy to say she can laugh about it in hindsight...
they exchange messages and then talk on the phone a couple of times...he keeps telling her that he's a consultant, makes plenty of money, travels, the whole nine yards. my gf isn't really prompting these answers, he just seems to feel the need to throw in how well off he is to her. anyway, they plan to meet and he asks her if she can pick him up (because he doesn't own a car!) now, keep in mind he is in his 40's and apparently a wealthy business man. so then she meets him at a starbucks and she ends up paying for them both because he hasn't received his payment for a contract he just completed! i nearly p*ssed my pants laughing when she told me that part. then he went on and on about sex and how girls don't seem to like it that much and blah, blah, blah. he finishes off by asking her for a ride home which she does. he then invites her up to his apartment! omigosh! can you believe that?
when she told me the story, we laughed and laughed till the tears were running down our eyes. she now let's me vet her prospective dates before "meeting" them!!! | |

Posted: 1/22/2005 1:57:20 AM | well it was a cell 2 cell sms chat n we decided to meet..i was cmin bak from another city n the flight came in early mornin.so we met at the airport at bout 5am in the mornin..n wat do i see..a huge lady of may be mo then 200lbs...i mean she was huge..even tho i met her..had coffee...n dropped her home...dat was a mistake..coz she made me buy her sum household things worth 250 bucks......yucks.
later i found out dat is her modus operandi. | |

Posted: 1/23/2005 1:15:06 AM | hmm this one "date" i dont really call them dates, just meetings for the first time in person. well anyways, he met me and then proceeded to try and fondle my breasts at any chance he could and try and kiss me too...i mean holy crap, the first meeting?? and we were in a super public place too! i felt so violated, said goodbye and never talked to him again.
this other guy i met, pretty much did the same thing.
thankfully i've only had 2 fruitcakes cross my path...the rest have all been cool people to hang out with
the best is yet to come though. just have to wait 4 months to be around him. | |

Posted: 1/25/2005 3:41:36 PM | The saddest (therefore, worst since I find all women nice in some twisted way) was a woman who showed me her X-rays on the first date. And I offered to take her to the hospital the next day, and then to a doctor's office not far from the hospital. She had terminal cancer. I doubt if she is still alive. I suppose I was the last guy who treated her to Chinese take-out.
Be thankful for your health. You may lose it faster than you may think. | |

I've met quite a few cool people and as far as chatting goes I find it pretty decent. One individual however was very interested in meeting me and since the conversations lasted for hours I agreed. When the girl showed up, her present condition didn't even faintly resemble the pics she had up on this site. We sat and talked all evening as well as other activities and then after she left I deleted her # from my phone and ignored every message she left. This might sound realy shallow, however I felt that I had been decieved by her use of pictures that were at least 6 years old and didn't come close to showing what her current state. To be quite honest I don't feel the slight bit bad about it bcause she started the deception. In fact the only thing I do feel bad about was that I slept w/ her to win a bet. I should have bet more money. | |

One girl I met, she had an eye that darted all over the place, and it made me nervous.
I met one girl that had what she called an athletic body, from her pictures she wasnt bad to her waist. But her rear end was wider than mine and she called it a JayLo butt... I think JayLo would have something to say about that. She also got into a a big fight with her ex husband on her cell phone. Then kinda turned into a stalker.
Another was supposed to have an average body for a woman 36 yrs old. She was 5'6" and I guess I didnt know that average for that was close to 200 lbs. I was only happy there was a nice looking woman behind her to look at.
One reminded me of my buddies mom, she was real loud and just kinda looked like his mom. | |
